At the same time, they didn't even bother giving her anyone to train with; Bogo kinda just wanted her out of the building so he didn't have to devote any more thought to her.
@@Shunnabunich Actually, parking duty is commonly assigned to new rookies, usually for a couple of weeks if they're locals, a couple months if they're from out of town, and usually on a route roughly consistent with what their patrol beat is likely to be, with strict orders not to engage in pursuit, but to radio in any occurances. It's common practice. It allows them to get familiar with the layout of their beat without putting them in a dangerous situation due to their ignorance or random street crime. Bogo was actually taking Judy a hundred percent seriously, and giving her the opportunity to acclimate and learn about the city and how you get around it before he put her on an actual patrol beat. Probably every cop in that bullpen had been on parking duty when they first arrived. This is reinforced later, when Bogo is chewing her out in his office... if any other cop had done what she had done, they'd be in that office being chewed out just like she was. And he does admit that she did, indeed, catch the perp. It was her reckless method that he had a problem with... she put herself and a whole lot of people in danger and caused a ton of damage in her hotblooded and, I might mention, against-orders pursuit, when she wasn't supposed to be an active pursuer to begin with. Bogo was well within his rights to drum Judy out, and arguably was making the right decision in doing so. She could have gotten herself and a whole lot of rodents killed and it was literally only blind luck that none of that happened. A cop gambling with lives like that is absolutely unnacceptable. Doing so against orders, doubly so. Nick's chewout actually made Bogo realize what Judy thought was going on, and as a result he eased up a little on her, because he realized she wouldn't have been so hot to prove herself and reckless if she hadn't thought he was writing her off as just a helpless bunny.

Great hidden message about racism and stereotyping. But, I also love how the movie shows women supporting women. Like the reason Judy didn't die was because she was nice to the daughter. And the fact she kept on complimenting her. Sadly, this is so rare to see.
I think it's rare to see _in film._ There's nothing sweeter than women lifting each other up, and I think that happens a lot in real life, but tt makes for good drama in a show that lacks any other ideas to see women tearing each other apart.
Unfortunately, the fanfiction based on the comic The Violet Diaries makes them so speciesist that Judy literally disinherits herself. *Gideon isn't even in it.*
Uh no. I disagree. Yeah they’re not crappy, but they’re outwardly racist for half of the movie and didn’t believe Judy could make it as a cop. I understand why they would think that as historically, bunnies have never been cops, as what Judy’s parents say. However it just comes off as unsupportive parents who would rather follow tradition. But they’re not bad people.
The second I saw Nick with the fennec fox I knew something was off, as fennec foxes are my favorite and I know they're a smaller breed. So I was just "there's no way that's a kid."
It's killing me that you said you were getting Breaking Bad vibes from the train car scene, but then didn't catch that the two other sheep were called Walter and Jessie 😂😂😂
Rabbits aren't naturally predisposed to eating root vegetables because there's too many sugars in them so I'm sure they would like the taste but eating nothing but carrots all the time would definitely kill then very quickly
The one downside to that is that it takes a long time for sloths to go to the bathroom, and it's actually very life threatening because they have to go down to the ground to do it, making them super vulnerable for a very long peroid of time
When you figured what Nick owned you didn't take leap years into account. This means Nick owns A LOT more than what was previously figured. Nick, you are screwed!
@@osets2117 assuming this is still planet earth then they would. Technically it takes slightly *over* 365 days for the earth to go around the sun. That’s why we have leap years in the first place. I would suppose that if other planets were inhabited they would probably have some sort of leap year kind of thing since there’s a larger chance for it to not line up with the metric of days.
Disney has kinda been on a 'female protagonist without love interest' kick. I think Tangled was the last movie they did where Rapunzel had a love interest and married at the end. Zootopia, Raya and the Last Dragon, Frozen (I mean Elsa here), all the protagonists do not get a lover. They are kinda going in the girl power direction where independent women don't need a man. So I don't really expect it. I also like the fact that Judy and Nick can be both seen as friends, partners or a couple.
@@lorettabes4553 I think it's more because a love story doesn't fit into most of these movies as a plot device. A romance for Elsa would've taken away from the actual plot of the movie, so instead, we got Anna and Kristoff. Zootopia is strong enough without romance too, the same goes for Moana. It just doesn't really fit in my opinion. On the other hand, it leaves more room for shipping and the gay shipping between Raya and Namari in Raya and the last dragon is insane.
22:59 Side note: Duke's pirated copy of _Giraffic_ is based on _Gigantic,_ a take on _Jack and the Beanstalk_ which was in development at the time but ultimately cancelled by Disney.
My guilty pleasure is having staring contests with my cats (I have three cats) bc apparently cats will stare at each other to see who's the leader (and I like to win) so who ever chickens out loses. Very fun, 10/10, would recommend for cat owners
I thought staring for a cat mean your hunting or finding a fight since cats stare at their target Soo i always blinked slowly whenever my neices cat stare at me
Incredible reaction, as always. Also, there's an AMAZING video by the channel Cinema Therapy about implicit bias in Zootopia. I highly recommend it to everyone; it's education and entertaining.
Fun fact: Kristen Bell (aka Anna from _Frozen,_ Eleanor from _The Good Place)_ did a two-word cameo ("Yes, Flash?") as Priscilla the sloth, because she loves sloths as much as you do.
This movie does a GREAT job at peeling down the layers of how racism can work. Hopps is a perfect example of a privileged person who is totally unexamined (at least early on). Sure, she faces struggles and prejudice... and then fails to appreciate her own.
Welchy, I almost spat out my coffee when I saw the notification for this! Zootopia's one of my treasured modern Disney animations and I'm super-duper happy you got to watch and enjoy it! Loved your reaction when you finally got the joke btw, haha.

I feel that ticketing yourself bit so much 😂 I was a manager and I wrote a few people up for being unreasonably late in the same week. Then I came in over an hour late at the end of the week and I had to write myself up. Big oof 😂
Not only is this movie supremely entertaining, it also has a very good underlying message... (Also I remember blasting try everything for like months until I got sick if it)
"Hopps...Carrots....Judy!" "Girlfriend!" 😂not gonna lie, I thought the same thing the first I watched it. They had a moment when nick was telling his backstory, plus he cared so much about her when they fell out into the water, even after she blackmail him. Also that moment in the cop car at the end. Did Disney do this on purpose? Or is it just my imagination gone wild?
The directors did that on purpose, they wanted a "will they won't they" vibe for Judy and Nick They put out a survey on Twitter, I think, asking if people thought they were either, just friends or more than friends. It was 49/51 with thousands of votes. Me personally I'm all for the relationship, the way they interact with each other, especially on the cable car where Judy puts her hand on Nick's after he tells his story, right there, that was the moment
@@osets2117 Same there are just so many moments that say they like each other. That credits scene where they're at the club and she hip bumps him or the softening in her voice when she says "our first fox".

Omg loved this movie and your reaction to it is just priceless. Fun fact: the original storyline for this movie was a lot darker, with shock collars being forced onto all predators when the matured and they would monitor a predator’s behavior so they would get shocked if they got too angry or excited. There’s actually a drawn excerpt of it that you can find on TH-cam. Of course the darker tone was scrapped for something a little lighter that kids would like better. Aww, Scooby is so cute. My friend sits with me when I paint. His name is Trevor Teddy in his little Christmas sweater, had him forever and he especially loves the holidays. I would have to say my guilty pleasure would be puns. Good or cheesy, I just really like puns. I love all jokes but puns come so easily to me. Great video and can’t wait to see more. Greatly waiting for the day you react to Wolfwalkers.
Bro- My first language is spanish so yeah I watched this in spanish and this joke 5:55 got so damn lost there like- in spanish it says "a matter of great importance (un asunto de gran importancia)" because "Aknowledge the elephan in the room" is a phrase only inglish speakers have and turned the joke only into the tone as if making the elephants brithday more important than the lost animals cases instead of making phrase literal and I like it so much more in english now xd
I know this is an older video, but here's a fun fact! Mr. Big is such a feared crime boss because he's an arctic shrew. Despite their size, arctic shrews are known as the most vicious carnivores on Earth, mostly because they hunt like rabid dogs and they cannibalize each other. They also move quickly, are constantly hungry, are very territorial, and have only one natural predator aside from themselves -- owls. So yeah. :D Edit: I just discovered that shrews are venomous and have been recorded killing snakes that try to eat them multiple times.
Sloths may do nothing all day, sure, but sometimes they die of malnutrition because they're picky about what vegetation to eat. Also, they can mistake their arms for tree branches, grab onto it, and fall to their death. :)
24:00 to quote one of my all time fave movies the prince of Egypt There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill Who knows what miracles you can achieve? When you believe, somehow you will You will when you believe
It's fair to remember that when Chief Bogo assigns Judy parking duty, that's probably a fair thing to do. She's the newbie on the force and is currently going places without backup or a partner. I'm not a member of the police force myself, but if I was going to take a guess at it, I would say that every rookie cop starts at the very bottom with the worst jobs. They're the ones directing cars into the breathalyser line, they're the ones coordinating traffic, they're the ones watching the crime scene to make sure nobody touches anything. Judy isn't going to be assigned a missing animal case or chasing down criminals, and it isn't because she's a bunny. It's because she's new.
I love all of your videos but this is my favourite. When you said that water (H2O) is underrated, I completely agree. People think I'm extremely weird because I don't drink any kind of juice/squash or fizzy, I only drink water. I'm not sure why I'm like that because no one else in my family only drink water. And people are always like, "oh, I hate water", but they do know that when they drink juice/squash (depends where your from) that you add water before they drink it right. Anyways I thought I'd just mention it and I LOVE YOU, YOUR VIDEOS AND THE ONE THE ONLY MR SCOOBY DOO
great reaction, as always, but it seems like you may have missed the point of the "Bellweather's hair is so fluffy" thing. many black people experience getting touched without their permission the way Nick was touching Bellweather's hair just because they think it's so fluffy. they may think it's innocent but it's a micro-aggression and imagine having that happen to you multiple times a day by strangers. it weighs on you. and these were animals so it was easy to laugh at but imagine knowing that your ancestors were once treated like animals and then feeling like people were petting you all the time. it's not a great feeling. just something to think about.

To be a bit more specific its story where the MC has save points that when he dies he returns to temporally and spatially and only he remembers the events after that point... so yes there is a lot of death and has some animals treated brutally in it.
Love that you reacted to this movie. I love this movie... Also the Breaking Bad vibe you're getting is an actual reference to Breaking Bad especially there is a character named Jesse and Woolter there.
For the record, parking duty is commonly assigned to rookie cops, usually for a couple of days if they live in the precinct, a couple weeks if they're locals but not from the precinct, and a couple months if they're from out of town, and usually on a route roughly consistent with what their patrol beat is likely to be, with strict orders not to engage in pursuit, but to radio in any occurances. This is reinforced by how Bogo boredly and routinely assigns her parking duty with zero hesitation or even a pause for thought. He went down the list, saw she was new, and assigned her parking duty in city center on the spot. It had nothing to do with her species. And then later, when Bogo is chewing her out in his office... if any other cop had done what she had done, they'd be in that office being chewed out just like she was. He does (admittedly sarcastically) admit that she did, indeed, catch the perp and that was commendable and all. It was her reckless method that he had a problem with. The crime he committed was not equal to the extreme and reckless lengths she went to to catch him. Her species had nothing to do with it. He was treating her like any other cop in the bullpen. Nick's chewout actually made Bogo realize what Judy thought was going on, and as a result he eased up a little on her, because he realized she wouldn't have been so hot to prove herself and reckless if she hadn't thought he was writing her off as just a helpless bunny. He was basically willing to admit part of her behaviour was caused by his handling of her. He was trying to handle her like he would handle the big strong animals who usually go in for police work without thought for the baggage a smaller animal trying to succeed in a big animal's job might have. It kinda plays into the movie's big lesson, too. By assuming Bogo was picking on her because she was a rabbit, Judy is kind of stereotyping and showing a bias against larger animals. They're all against her because she's a rabbit... which wholly isn't true.

Great hidden message about racism and stereotyping. But, I also love how the movie shows women supporting women. Like the reason Judy didn't die was because she was nice to the daughter. And the fact she kept on complimenting her. Sadly, this is so rare to see.
... They do do that. She literally saved them from being iced by her father as a _direct result_ of Judy saving her life.
@@AmazingAutist yeah I know... that's what I was saying.
?
I'm like this
I think it's rare to see _in film._ There's nothing sweeter than women lifting each other up, and I think that happens a lot in real life, but tt makes for good drama in a show that lacks any other ideas to see women tearing each other apart.
I know the parents seem overbearing but that really doesn't mean they are crappy parents..they are worried about her..and so support her...
At least the main character has BOTH parents in a Disney movie
“Your hair is so triggering, I mean it’s kinda similar to mine. But mine is better.” 😂
Agreed.
i did the research for you, and apparently Rabbits eat all types of veggies! They mostly eat hay though
Thank yaaa :)
New Welchy anime series: That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Sloth.
That would be a 10/10 series
@@Welchy (Seriously, though, if you haven't seen "That Time I got Reincarnated as a Slime", put it on your list cuz it's pretty cool. 😋)
They might not have leap years
@@osets2117 assuming this is still planet earth then they would. Technically it takes slightly *over* 365 days for the earth to go around the sun. That’s why we have leap years in the first place. I would suppose that if other planets were inhabited they would probably have some sort of leap year kind of thing since there’s a larger chance for it to not line up with the metric of days.
That look of realisation at the night howlers was priceless
I can't be the only one who want them to become a couple in the second movie.
@@lorettabes4553 Dude... I haven't seen Raya and the last Dragon yet!
@@quatschk0pfr.w.676 I mean... theres not any spoiler in their comment
Ew no I do not want them to have funnies!
22:59 Side note: Duke's pirated copy of _Giraffic_ is based on _Gigantic,_ a take on _Jack and the Beanstalk_ which was in development at the time but ultimately cancelled by Disney.
25:32 Zootopia actually won the oscar for best animated feature that year. My personal favorite though was Finding Dory.
My guilty pleasure is having staring contests with my cats (I have three cats) bc apparently cats will stare at each other to see who's the leader (and I like to win) so who ever chickens out loses. Very fun, 10/10, would recommend for cat owners
I thought staring for a cat mean your hunting or finding a fight since cats stare at their target
Soo i always blinked slowly whenever my neices cat stare at me
@@chiaweijie194 true, but I only do it if my cats make eyecontact first (usually I do blink slowly at them)
mmmm okie then ima try dat next time
"Are you a bad sheep? Ooh, you a bad sheep" sounded oddly sus 💀
Incredible reaction, as always. Also, there's an AMAZING video by the channel Cinema Therapy about implicit bias in Zootopia. I highly recommend it to everyone; it's education and entertaining.
Thank you :D
Saw that video it's fantastic, Judy's apology to Nick is definitely one of the best real apologies
Hahaha love that Noir 😆
By the by, if you ever want to try watching an animated film about owls, "Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'hoole" is absolutely spectacular. An underrated, good film.
Keep up your fun reactions!
(Also I remember blasting try everything for like months until I got sick if it)
"Hopps...Carrots....Judy!" "Girlfriend!"
😂not gonna lie, I thought the same thing the first I watched it. They had a moment when nick was telling his backstory, plus he cared so much about her when they fell out into the water, even after she blackmail him. Also that moment in the cop car at the end. Did Disney do this on purpose? Or is it just my imagination gone wild?
The directors did that on purpose, they wanted a "will they won't they" vibe for Judy and Nick
They put out a survey on Twitter, I think, asking if people thought they were either, just friends or more than friends.
OMG I'm so happy he did this movie.☺☺
😊😊
I was about to recommend this movie, it's one of my favourites. I'd love to live in Zootopia.
I would also recommend Ratatouille, Wall-E, and Big Hero 6.
My playlist mostly consists of Deftones, Nirvana, Green Day, Blink 182, Muse and Radiohead, with a few Disney songs thrown in. Also, the original Pokemon theme song because... Pokemon.
you have taste! both in movies and music
Tangled Lovers unite!
YES
"That was a close shave" I swear in every single video you manage to make that one joke that makes me laugh lol 😂😂
What can I say 😂😂
Barbie movies are my gulity pleasure. Please, do the hunchback of notre dame!!
I have a spotify playlist dedicated to the script and imagine dragons
Decent!
Most of my music is imagine dragons
So yeah. :D
Edit: I just discovered that shrews are venomous and have been recorded killing snakes that try to eat them multiple times.
Yes H2O is underrated and so is welchy.
i know it's a small detail but i love that you actually went back and caught her playlist (4:00). i love all the random little things :).
EYYYYYY!!!!! How you doing. Ngl, you got me with the guest.😂😂😂😂
😂😂 he’s an icon
Sloths may do nothing all day, sure, but sometimes they die of malnutrition because they're picky about what vegetation to eat. Also, they can mistake their arms for tree branches, grab onto it, and fall to their death. :)
The end scene in the movie tho. Its pretty good
It really is
Today’s my birthday and a lot of my family forgot it, so hearing you say “happy birthday,” was pretty cool.

I'm so happy!! I've wanted you to watch this movie since httyd!
Ahhh :)
I saw this movie in cinemas when I was like 7 and 18:48 scared me so bad I didn’t watch it until like a year or two after it was released
Zootopia is probably my favorite cartoon/animation, seeing you react to this has bought me joy.
Nick Wilde = Flynn Rider as a fox 😂
Honestly, zootopia kinda copied flynn and rapunzels dynamic with nick and judy kinda having the same personalities as them
When he was talking about the sloths I just couldn't stop smiling it's fun to see him talk about something he's so passionate about 🥰😍💕
great reaction, as always, but it seems like you may have missed the point of the "Bellweather's hair is so fluffy" thing. many black people experience getting touched without their permission the way Nick was touching Bellweather's hair just because they think it's so fluffy. they may think it's innocent but it's a micro-aggression and imagine having that happen to you multiple times a day by strangers. it weighs on you. and these were animals so it was easy to laugh at but imagine knowing that your ancestors were once treated like animals and then feeling like people were petting you all the time. it's not a great feeling. just something to think about.
My hair is really big and throughout school my friends would push down my hair messing it up, stick pencils in it and pull on my curls to watch it stretch. None of which was done with permission and mostly while my back was turned.
I grew up mainly around white people and never felt the urge to dig in their hair, even as a child😭
5:35 I'm about 23% Scottish and 8% Irish, but I don't have that big of an interest of wearing a kilt and playing the Bagpipes, but my grandpa wants me to have the family's shillelagh

2:13 : other foods for rabbits: kale, lettuce, broccoli, cucumbers, apples, apple twigs (the sapling branches from apple trees, to give you an idea for scale, good for keeping their teeth under control) and strawberries. Also, if you have long-haired rabbits or rabbits that lick themselves a lot, pineapple is a good way to prevent 'wool-block'.
Awesome, please watch inside out.
"You are the worst parents imaginable"

Fun fact: A lot of sloths die because they mistake their own arms for tree trunks and they fall to their deaths
Her parents weren't bad. Yes, idealy they would support her unconditionally, but they were just being realistic and worried for her safety. Not being perfect at something is not the same as being awful at something.
Paused at 13:23.
Proof you have seen RE:Zero.
If you have not then be warned it will wreck you with how emotional it can be. Its an anime with 2 current seasons roughly 50 episodes and 2 movies.
To be a bit more specific its story where the MC has save points that when he dies he returns to temporally and spatially and only he remembers the events after that point... so yes there is a lot of death and has some animals treated brutally in it.
"You are the worst parents imaginable" Obviously he watched this before chicken little.
Yup
No-one’s questioning the “Skunk Butt Rug”?
All animals are sentient in this universe, so Skunks are sentient
So someone murdered a skunk for a rug?
Good ending: A skunk just shaved their butt to make the mat.
Bad ending: Somebody actually skinned a skunk to make the mat.
You cannot imagine the overwhelming euphoria I get whenever you upload lmao
Wow thank you! I really appreciate that so much 😊😊

Love that you reacted to this movie. I love this movie... Also the Breaking Bad vibe you're getting is an actual reference to Breaking Bad especially there is a character named Jesse and Woolter there.
Second video I’m watching tonight instead of sleeping. Just subscribed - for Scooby.
Well I absolutely stan scooby. He’s such an icon!
yes, love that :)
Zootopia, tangled, and wall e are probably my top 3 favorite movies ever. I can't think of a single flaw in any of them.
Have you watched the Disney movie Sing

Anyone notice that in Bellwether's office we see "Doug's" number pasted on her telephone and later in the movie we find out that the night howlers were being sold to a ram named "Doug".
That was one of the biggest hint at who the real villain was and we didnt even realize.
