Nice one guys! I just got back from the Peak District last weekend. I had never done proper hiking before, so I walked from Edale train station towards Barber Booth around the next booths and up to Grindsslow Knoll. But everyone seemed to come down from there. I nearly reached the top but the rocky ledges you have to climb up prevented me. Even at 6ft 2, skinny and only 40, I struggled to reach up with my hands and feet, yet it was so much easier coming down, I felt like a right wimp when I did! 🤦♂🤦♂🙄🙄😆😆 At least I got to the top of Mam Tor, even though that's a lot easier and has a path straight up it. The Rambler Inn looked good. But I went to the Old Nags head, nice ales there, fish n chips in beer batter and Bakewell tart with custard went down well. ☺☺ Great video BTW. 👍👍
Brilliant, thanks guys. Great fun!
Thanks Peter - glad you enjoyed

Thanks Steve, it’s a pleasure to traverse Kinder when it’s dry - very different story otherwise! The maps are all done by hand.
excellent video, that was harsh terrain up there, hope your back in the peak district soon.
Thanks Pete, very enjoyable walk that one. You’ll be pleased to know that we are back in Chapel for the next two videos.
That's great news, please call in for a jar of honey, a cuppa, or a beer.
We'll have to arrange that for next time Pete, these ones are already in the bag, but we will have to have some of those great scones! Don
@@jananddongetout magic, Lorraine will bake some when your ready.
