    This is an AMAZING lure. Hooks are great, and the lure itself looks amazing.

    I can remember when Berkley first started selling these and they were under $2 and no sooner did the Next bite start endorsing them the price shot up!!!! I'm glad I stocked up then!!!

    While recently fishing Fort Peck Res in N.E, Montana I found that the smaller hooks failed to hook the big northerns so if you want to concentrate on the big pike I would change to a larger hook than standard.

    They are on sale a Meijer end of season for $1.37, I cleaned up and got every color I needed.

    I bought a fire tiger flicker shad and love it. On that one lure I have caught rainbow trout, walley, wipers and white bass. So.. I bought a bunch more. The price is right.
    I do have one problem with this one now. It seems to be temperamental when I troll it and it wanta to lay on its side and plane/skip on the surface, when I troll more than 2 mph. Could that be a problem when using a snap swivel? What is the best clip/swivel to use when using Berkley hard baits?

      this is an excellent bass lure my two biggest fish in the last week(4.3 and 3.9) are on this lure in hot pink.

      kokonutfreaks This bait is unbelievable for smallies! Cast this sucker on top of rock piles and knock it along there. You'll put so many fish in the boat. The smallies also have a tendency to jump when they fell the hook set for some reasons, but that's awesome to see. This bait also attracts pike, so make sure to run it with a steel leader. It doesn't affect the action in the slightest.

    I use this bait to cast, and I'll catch everything from rock bass to muskie.

    I bought 5 different flicker shad lures from my local bait shop. Fished with them for 2 years straight. They sure took a beating. Casting up and down the Ohio River in the hot summer . Hoping to catch some fish. But for some reason. All they seemed to do. Is disappoint me. No fish. No matter were i went. What must I be doing wrong?

      Did the hooks fall off or something?

    • @randomtube8226
      @randomtube8226 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +k9feces no, I will say the hooks did stay quite sharp. The fish seemed to be turned off or inactive.

    • @randomtube8226
      @randomtube8226 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      The hooks have yet to start rusting. But with this lures look and action. Thought more fish would be attracted.

      +Anthony Bocook been out a few times and have been hammering smallmouth and pike on these. Mostly in shallow water bouncing off the rocks

      +k9feces Were do you fish at? River, Lake? And what's your most successful color? I would really like to start catching more fish.

    those hooks suck... I caught a 17 pound salmon last year on a fire tiger flickershad #7 and the hooks were bent straight out... lucky i landed the fish

    The hooks suck

    • @k9feces
      @k9feces 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't know why they say the hook is durable, they break and bend more than any hooks I've seen.
