at 12:10 the text on Kos-Mos's abdomen can be made out form the Alrest Records artbook, it reads " Code Name:KP-X selial No.0000000000000001.2 Human type body ver.6.02.493d built XXXX- Meister:Shion Uzuki,Allen Ridgely"
Still suprised how I managed to find that. You'd never ever see it normally, simply because of how small of a detail it is. Quite proud of this find haha
I'm more surprised by the detail that devs decided to include it there. It's almost as though they knew someone would have the means to float around the map and see stuff you wouldn't normally see.
I can't believe Rex was in that Leftheria title screen all along, it's just like seeing Gramps in Rex's dad's cutscene and Alvis and Lorithia in the disciple Dickson one
Wow so Rex's parents were from Tantal all this time, that's wild. Like I know where weren't from Leftheria but it's nice having confirmation either way. Also Morytha actually blew me away with how much you don't see, wish we were able to go more places.
Tantalese character models were used as placeholders for Tornans in the unfinished Torna scenes seen in the main story of XC2. Thus, his parents could've also been descended from Tornans, (have Tornan blood) and been from somewhere else in Leftheria, or from Tantal. We don't really know, unfortunately. But it's generally agreed that his parents were definitely Tornan, and likely from somewhere else in Leftheria that we never get to see in-game or anywhere else, ever. Thus, this allows for Rex to potentially be Addam's descendant, and Zeke's long lost extremely distant cousin!
Xenoblade 2 is possibly my favourite game ever, so being able to appreciate it from all these new angles was an amazing experience! I didn't know about the title screens being fully rendered behind the blur, but the coolest thing to me were the formerly moving gates behind the Trinity Processor. And the typo on KOS-MOS Re:'s iris was hilarious! On another note, these games aren't weeb trash, but Takahashi is a massive otaku and so are many of the people behind the games (just read the development team's comments in Xenogears Perfect Works). I don't know if that would make them "weeb", but it wouldn't make them trash at all regardless. By the way, there's a Xenogears map and model viewer, so you might want to check it out if you haven't already. Anyway, I love genuine Xenoblade 2 love so thank you for this out-of-bounds showcase!
Feel free to let me know if I missed something! Also, I took a closer look into some models in blender... which I'm currently trying to get into. For future videos that is. As overwhelming as it was, atleast I could see that the textures... are just as low-rez as they are on the switch. Who knew haha. Just for some of you that may be curious. Hope you guys enjoy(ed) the video!
I've gotten over 2h of footage. During editing I tried to include as much as possible in as little time as possible. Sometimes feeling like I would rush through it a bit too fast, while also trying to make it still entertaining. And I still ended up with 30 minutes haha. The longest one out of the 5. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it! :)
The beat part of XC 2 for me is Morytha. I saw many buildings outside of the main area you are playing in, but as always, you could never explore old Earth. It was lovely to see the area in better detail, minus the fog. Thanks for that, SparksOpus.
6:58 for some reason i think i revived this joke (most likely not the case),i said that i still believed that the nopon were the zonai At 27:20 you can see the detail they added from future redeemed so most likely they grabbed the detail from malos' core crystal, also,in some scenes you can see it on pneuma's core crystal
Watching this... perhaps its too much work, but I'd love it if you made overview/overworld videos like XB1 and XBX had in the title screen in-between the main menu. They stopped doing them after XB2 and I really enjoyed them, with the main theme playing on the background. Keep up with the videos!
someone has exported some of the xenoblade maps onto vrchat so i've been exploring some of them through that, it's kinda interesting though seeing more out of bounds stuff
One of the things that amazed me the most is that in some of the game big events like the big battle between the titans under the tree you can go back to any level and see how these gigantes change their position in the far horizon
7:20 Mor Ardain really deserved another shoulder. Idk why but even taking into account how much more verticality it had even by XB2 standards, it still felt so much smaller than most of the other titans
That corridor found behind the door leading to the Trinity is likely used during the cutscenes when Amalthus stole the Logos and Pneuma cores. Not sure what the black box would be.
@@SparksOpusI REALLY did!! But, the Xenoblade games being Xenoblade games, there's so much more to see, and thus a lot more that i'd want to see. This might seem greedy or something, but could you please consider making a part 2 of this particular episode, and maybe (preferably for me and other viewers at least) a part 2 for at least the other 2 main games of the series, XC1 & XC3?? If you did, it'd be nice if you made a community post (or multiple posts, 1 for each game) beforehand, asking us what other things we'd want to be shown off in a part 2 video for each game.
The comments exist for that exact reason. Which is also the reason that the Xenoblade 3 OoB bonus short exists. There is honestly no point for a part 2 full on video. Everything that is worth showing, is shown here. Most other things aren't worth it. I could show you the whole over 2h raw footage that I recorded, but that would be boring to watch. And I also always mentioned that if I missed something, let me know in the comments. I also created a place for discussion on discord for that and haven't gotten a single response after multiple weeks. And also this video right here... after 2 minutes, 50% of the people clicked already away. And at the middle of the video, only 30% of the viewers are left. Most people don't exactly care about these videos. Or don't find them interesting. So there's also the question if it's worth the effort and time, because those videos consume quite a bit of my time. TLDR: If you have something I missed, mention it in a comment. If enough things gathered, I'll make a short out of it. But making a full on part 2, is simply not worth it. That's simply how it is, sorry.
it is so fascinating seeing some of the stuff that you never get to see, how much detail they put into the land of morytha and the city at the end of future redeemed
Has anyone else ever jumped off the main platform in the Land of the Challenge area and jumped around on the outer pillars and architecture? You can get pretty far out, I love doing that.
@@Fermin-hw5pd so the connection with Tantal is real according to Zeke because the royal family are descendants of Addam’s uncle that escaped Torna’s destruction. With Rex, I’m not sure if he’s directly descended from Addam but there’s a definite blood tie.
What about the cutscenes of Amalthus as a child? If Temperantia was indeed canonically one of the three titans killed in the Aegis War (along with Coeia and Torna), but just floating dead on the water's surface, then it implies Amalthus might've been alive when Temperantia was killed. I actually wonder if he was *from* Temperantia, and it could've been forested at one time, like in his childhood cutscenes. Because I somehow doubt he and his mother were running for their lives on the Indol titan itself.

Hey, great video, it really changed my view on the titens specifically. I'm obviously not knowing how you make these videos and the limitations so well if you can't you can't but I'd have preferred if you included a round view from the distance on the titens as you partally did, for example to better see the lay out of mor ardains shoulder especially since your zooming around and cuts sometimes are quite disorienting, at least for me. Especially the "look at how his arm looks ripped off" was very confusing since you started pretty up close.
