I tried it yesterday, it really needs more cushion in the forefoot - that part wasn't very protective and it felt really firm.

I had two Brooks Ghost shoes a few years ago and they were very comfortable. I did felt that pressure in the Achilles and I'm not surenief it was because of the high drop that I was still not used to it, or if it was the heel clip causing the problem. Anyways, today I'm super used to the 12mm drop and I do prefer the Mizuno's Wave Rider over the Brooks Ghost.
