  • This is NOT a review. This is an overview of the newly released ‪@brooksrunning‬ Ghost 16. A daily trainer loved by so many runners across the world.
In the future, I will release "video zero" when I get my hands on a pair of running shoes. This view will be an overview of what the shoe is. I will cover the shoe's specs, price, and the intended purpose of the shoe.
I also referenced ‪@RunMoore‬ in this video so please check their channel out and give them a follow/subscribe.

Great video Aubrey, as always. Thank you sir. I can’t wait for the Brooks Ghost Max 2!

That will be an amazing show for sure when you look at the brooks line up

You’re spot on with this assessment! My three pairs of Ghost (series 12,14 & 14) are the dinosaurs of my shoe rotation. They’re not for speed, they’re not for cushion… I use them for my walks! Excellent walking shoe but when I try to run them, I get no feedback at all. Terrific shoe once you find its purpose. And that’s mine- but it is a shoe worth having for sure. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

You definitely need to try the 16s then. They have added to the comfort but I wonder if it will hold up against other shoes in the bracket.
I do think though they are good for what they are designed for but in this day and age you have so many others to consider

Great video Aubrey. I see so many people running in the Brooks Ghost and I've tried it, but it just doesn't work for me. In fact, Brooks and Hokas are uncomfortable for me. I can't explain it. I typically run in Nike, Adidas and Asics. I could never figure out why that is. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for sharing!!I hear you. I actually love Hoka shoes and I have not come across a bad one for a while. As for brooks… I am trying this shoe for real and want to like it but let’s wait and see.

I normally avoided the Ghost. I do work in a run speciality store, and I was always shocked so many people loved the shoe. I found it clunky and boring. Fell in love with the Ghost Max, and now I have to admit I actually like the Ghost 16 enough that I put it in my rotation. It’s certainly no Novablast or Cielo, but it disappears on my foot for easy runs or walks. Brooks has given me some product to enjoy over the last year.

I love this and I feel like this is exactly how running shoes work. It only should makes sense and be comfortable to you. It’s all about having your own experience

Good, simple, concise video. I have a like / dislike relationship with the Brooks. when I got back into running a while ago. I started back with Brooks now I’ve moved on so I like it in that regard. That being said, the dislike I have for Brooks is both my mom and my father-in-law run in Brooks Glycerin and ghost. The most basic shoes and they are both faster than me in both the half marathon and the marathon whether I wear a plated shoe with super foam or the latest and greatest, I’m not faster. it’s just like what do I need to do to get faster than them. 😂🤔😐

Brooks is definitely a brand for uncertain runners. What I like about what they are doing now is they trying to move along with other brands and love the midsole change. Full review and thoughts coming up

@@AubreyRunning yeah… but both of them have been running over 20 years easily..and they both still wear brooks.
They are so steadfast.., I told them about carbon plated shoes.., and they were like … “what’s that for ??”

You need to try the Brooks Hyperion Max. Definitely not "Dad Shoes." No plate. Very light weight and fast. Durable, too. Huge discounts on them right now because the Hyperion Max 2, which will have a plate, will be coming out soon.

Think I've only ever owned one pair of Brooks in my life and that was the Levitate 2's 😂 They were ok to get me going on my running journey but since then I've always found that other brands out there have always just offered far better trainers to run in compared to the offerings from Brooks 🤔 Well done on the Worthing 10k, shame I missed you this year, I'm doing Reigate in September so be good to say hi if you're around 👌🏻

It was such an amazing experience for sure. I loved this year’s run and will definitely make sure we run together for sure.
As for the Ghost 16… I’m definitely giving a good go and will share my view next Sunday

Probably popular in america but not popular in other parts of the world.
I don’t see many runners using brooks shoe. Previously they were active promoting their shoes but it has fade away in recent years.

1:14 Im 99.999% sure that the Ghost 16 isn't a 24-12. Looking at Running Shoe Warehouse its 36mm in the Heel, 24mm in the forefoot for a 12mm offset. Interested to hear where you got those states from. 24mm is a racing flat these days!

Thanks for this but I’m going off a tech sheet they have provided to me. This is why I have started doing type of video and then I’ll give people my review after running in it.

      @kevinscott4938
36/24 is right when it comes to total stack height, but the tech sheet only reflects midsole height only. Brooks sees the midsole height as a separate unit that doesn't include the outsole. Believe in the Run also has the stack height listed as 24/12 in their review, but they put midsole only in parenthesis.
