A question for the reserving seat in the food hall , you know many people really take their time to buy food and it can take from 40 minutes to 2 hours . My question is , while many other people only take 30 minutes to finish their buying time and eating and can not find a seat and here you put 4 or many 8 pack of your reserving paper and the seats ... is this look very selfish to you ? What if those people suddenly gone off without buying food and taking their paper with them is this mean those Reserving seat will stay like that for the whole day ???

Thanks for the great tips! Another tip: Contactless payment (tap to pay) is frequently called "pay wave". It's widely supported everywhere.

Fabulous top 10 list for visitors to Singapore. Can I suggest one small tweak though. All visitors must do the Botanic Gardens. Start at Botanic Gardens MRT and then walk down the hill to the new Napier MRT. Free, and the perfect start to every Singapore day.

Great video! I am in Sinapore now on a visit, and your tips are spot on. One thing that I've found surprising here: Singapore is a lot bigger than I thought it would be! Also, I've found that Grab (the Uber of Singapore) and taxis are very inexpensive compared to what I am used to in the DC Metro area!

    Hello,
    Great video !
    Few questions:
    1) What is the best SIM Card Carrier in Singapore ?
    2) Is there a SIM Card in Singapore that also works in Batam Island/Indonesia ?
    3) How much is a SIM card (for 10 days) in Singapore ?
    4) How much is a beer in a convenience store and/or supermarket ?
Thank you very much for your help.
    Keep the great job.
    Take care !

Mine colleague practice Asian wife's Singaporean culture. She issued ang bao 7 yrs ago during CNY home visits. Singaporean wish her a happy family.

This was really helpful. I would have definitely forgotten about foreign transaction fees for public transportation if using a card.
Would love to hear about the itineraries you developed for different neighborhoods! That's not something I've seen on YT before.

Hi, we have a 22hrs stopover at SG. Do you recommend getting a tourist pass for transpo? Or just the regular EZ link card? (We opt out using CC as an option 😅)

I was there couple of weeks ago, my second time. it's clean, safe, with fascinating culture and food. I do find choping quite annoying and inconsiderated. now you have empty seats sitting around instead of people using them,

If my card has forex fees, what alternative payment do you recommend? :) i saw that they have the tourist pass but it has mixed reviews online

    • @happy_hapa
      @happy_hapa  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Good question! You can purchase an EZlink card at the MRT station for S$10 with S$5 towards trips and S$5 non-refundable fee for the card. In the longer term, if you are a frequent traveler I'd recommend getting a card without forex fees, like Revolut.

Dear Hapa! Not all hawker ctrs sell beer. All hawker ctrs at community club does not sell beers. The cheap beer r at HDB estates market places, born locals called it coffee shops as far back as the 70s. By the way. This yr alot of hawkers accept online payments. Eg. Paylah. Foreigners does not have this. Is ok. Pay by $. U guys may wish to know. Zi Char stores will bring out advance offers for CNY 2025, by Dec 2024. Having there or take away. There is no online orders for CNY25. I strongly encourage foreigners here, include PR and non born local citizens to eat it. To adapt to Singaporean cultures of CNY. Only apply to eve of CNY 2025.
