Loved the video mate, nice and clear! Quick question, the ITG intake seems to not only make a whoosh but also a flutter. Is that turbo flutter? If so, is that harmful for the car in long term or is the sound something else? Thanks!
on the fiestas the turbo has an internal diverter valve, the itg just amplifies that sound :) in more recent revisions of the Peron software they've removed it :)
Hello mate, great video. Off the top of your head do you know all the tools I'll need to install the ITG? Went to have a go the other day but right away realised I didnt have a T30 torx to remove the headlight haha, wondering if there's anymore?
Would it matter if I didnt have the supporting bracket that you fitted? I'm looking at getting a 2nd hand one but they arent including that bracket you had
Hi, im liking the videos so far. One question, is there a huge difference between the mountune airbox and the ITG induction kit as Im buying a mountune airbox tomorrow off a mate and just wondering what is better?
Well.. id be lying if i gave you a definite answer but ive heard that the ITG's are the best on the market right now. The only difference between the mountune and the standard one is that the mountune one has a better panel filter and a different lid.. Pretty sure the whole bottom part of the airbox is the same.. i love my ITG personally and would recommend it to anyone..
Cars&Co. may have to get one in the future! I'll keep the mountune one for now as it was on 80 quid and I'm sure it's worth a bit more than that anyway!
also I've noticed your car pops a and bangs really nicely, have you got a decel map? I'm deleting my resonator tomorrow and fitting a recirc valve, would really like to hear it pop and bang although a decat seems like a pig to do
yeah its got a map but ive recently removed it (video coming soon when the weather gets better) if you get a Decat get it done by a garage that knows what they're doing like AET mate. if you sheer a bolt on the turbo its manifold and turbo off to fix.. not worth it haha.
Hi! I've recently installed my ITG, just wondering if you get a high pitch annoying sound constantly whilst cruising at any speed with the throttle in a certain position about 10%? Great video by the way! Really enjoyed watching them all!
Cars&Co. yeah I think it is turbo spooling noise but I didn't realise it would be that loud when cruising, I find it so annoying like a loud wind noise haha! Keep the great videos coming!
Not sure but maybe removing/blocking off the sound symposer might help if you haven't done that already? I'm not a fan of the whooshing or blow off valve sounds either. Some people love it though for some reason.
Jason Roberts have a look at my latest video :) it's awesome I could recommend it enough. Power has increased loads aswell as torque. So much more overtaking power in 6th too

No worries. I just went CP2 and love it. Bought an ITG today. There's no difference over the Mountune airbox but I love the noise so will be following your video. Are you up North? Would be cool if you went to the Ford Fair or something! :D

1+ best tune for fiesta st. I'm Peron stage 2 but 1+ best bang for money. crossover is fine all u had too do is plug it if ur not using it
