I have recently fitted the ITG. After you pressure wash your car the filter gets soaking wet with water! Not good for my OCD and might have to take it back off.
@@Kenny.1979 I understand what you mean but I don’t think it’ll be an issue at all, thousands of people have the ITG installed and I don’t think it affects it much although… I’d rather not have it wet at all
@@Conzyy Same here. I don't think it would be an issue either but it's always in my mind all the time. I've put my standard airbox back on just now, may get the mountune one or st200 one. Running CP2 map and it runs with standard hardware fine anyway.
Got an ST and looking at doing the same. Might sound daft but does the red mountune intake pipe actually help at all or just for the look? Solid video bro
Just had this kit fitted to my car, but it’s making a weird noise on very low throttle, like when just driving through town. Almost sounds like something scraping, I’d guess it’s because not much air is being taken in because when I press a tiny bit harder on the pedal, that noise goes then the usual induction noise starts. Please tell me that’s not normal, it’s driving me mad! Love it apart from that!
@@nathanaelmuller5306 I took it off and put the stock air box back on. Missed the extra noise and put it back on 3 days later 😂 kinda used to it now, doesn’t bother me anywhere near as much as it used to.

I've been told you have to take out the headlight to install, good to see you didn't have to do that. Do you think for the odd camping trip on dusty gravel roads maybe an ITG wouldn't be a good option?

Ordered one today so worried about engine light coming on. If it were to come on and I put the original air box back on which the light go it’s self
No mate it would just need clearing off either way if comes on

@@PinMerp it is fact one if not the main restriction in the quest for increased bhp, hence Mountune using a modified version for their 215 upgrade 😊

Is that red hose stock on the st? I’ve seen it in another video but I presumed the guy just replaces it
