How is a scale in second intervals when there's no black key? Like c scale, is interval from E to F still a second? Or is it a half step?
Scales are composed of a series of half-steps and whole-steps both of which are intervals of seconds. livingpianos.com/what-is-a-major-scale-2/
I think of intervals as notes(letters), not steps. So E to F would be 2nd interval, regardless of half or full step.
I can’t recognize 3rds on the staff. If I sit at the piano I can see them easily.
