I'm finishing my last semester before law school next year (specializing in post-conviction relief) and that set and the prosecution straight up clown shoes (yeah, I know that's an old person's phrase, but I'm old) . I'm 29 years clean and am always so proud to see folks in the comments sharing their recovery journeys. If you're just thinking about going into recovery, it's worth it and I believe in you!

The theory being Brandon Lee's death is that he was shot due to a previous malfunction with the firearm. They checked the fired case and it was indeed a blank. What happened was they were shooting real bullets out of the gun previously. There is a malfunction called a squib, which means a cartridge did not get the full powder charge or no charge at all. When the primer fires it creates a very small explosion which can dislodge the bullet from the casing. The bullet was stuck in the barrel, and then while filming they fired a blank cartridge, creating the explosion needed to dislodge the stuck bullet into Brandon. That is why most Hollywood guns will only fire blanks and wont chamber an actual bullet. Why Alec Baldwin decided to use an authentic firearm is beyond me. Even though it was an accident, by deciding to use a real firearm he is still responsible in my eyes. I'm an avid 2A supporter and collector, so I'm not just barking out my a5$.
