Hey y’all! I went to San Pedro, Belize in May. I had an amazing time exploring the island and experiencing the good people, rich culture, and amazing food. Here are some moments that I want to share with you all. I hope you enjoy watching! (:

How was mosquitoes at Mahogany Bay?
Thank you for watching!! 💜 And mosquitos were actually pretty bad in San Pedro. When I left I was covered in big red mosquito bites. So pack your mosquito repellent!! The mosquitoes were not a problem at all in Belize City.
@nenepassion I stayed at Mahogony Bay 2022, they were still building up. The mosquitoes were treacherous. I had every repellent there is, nothing worked. I vowed to never stay there. But I loved it, going back in August. Thanks

Who did you book the excursion through?
How far was mahogany from Secret Beach? Is there a private beach on mahogany? If so, was there a lot of seaweed? Is it located near nightlife/bars/restaurants?
Mahogany Bay is about a 45-50 minute golf cart ride from Secret Beach. Yes, theres a private beach for Mahogany Bay Resort. There was no seaweed because of its location. Mahogany bay is only about a 10 minute golf cart ride to the nightlife downtown.
Did you rent the golf cart in town or from the restaurant? What was the cost! TIA
I got the golf cart in town. And I got it for about 5 days. It was less than $200.00 USD. Very affordable at most rental companies on the island. The only thing that is expensive is the gas when it’s time to fill up. Gas on San Pedro cost double what it cost in the US.

@@DeeTee85 I loved everything about mahogany bay. And I did not feel as though it was too far. I enjoyed my golf cart rides all over the island.
Do you take the water taxi from the airport or separate location??
I only took the water taxi to go to and from Belize city for the excursion.

The best and fastest way to get to the resort from the airport is a 15 minute flight on a small plane with either Maya Air or Tropic Air. This flight can be booked online ahead of time.
