I love watching you play Charles ❤. You make it look so easy and I know it's not. I never had the patience to learn, but I absolutely adore watching and listening to those that play, it's exhilarating, thank you.
I love watching your fingers move so confidently across the keyboard, a lovely piece for sure for Spring, definitely sounds like flowers, that delicate touch of yours. It is close to my birthday, I have been watching for a new piece from you. Thanks Charles! ❤😊
The Kawai is fairly old now! I bought it about 15 years ago. I use the Garritan Abbey Road CFX sample library as the tone for this recording. Thanks for listening!
Thanks, James! If you're talking about the release that this arrangement is featured on (The Solo Piano Project, Vol 1) that release just came out on streaming platforms this past Friday! There eventually will be a volume 2, yes, but in the meantime I have 2 new EPs of original music that will be released (one is all written and recorded, the other hasn't been started yet) as well as a "music for healing" project that I originally planned to release in mid 2025, but I'm not sure I'm going to make that deadline... I also haven't yet been able to start work on that.
Perhaps in movies? I can't think of one off the top of my head, but it's such a beautiful piece, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it's been in many films!
I got literal chills when the melody came in at the beginning; I’m so excited to play this one! Such a great arrangement. Transferring orchestra to piano can be quite the challenge, and this one works so well. Is the sound from the keyboard or a VST? Whichever it is, is really nice.
Haha, thanks! The trickiest bit was actually getting the pedalling through there, especially on a keyboard and not on an acoustic. Half pedal on my keyboard is basically non existent, which would make the thirds much easier to play cleanly on an acoustic instead.
love this piece but always felt the middle section clashed a bit with the serenity before and after it - so i really like what you did with it. lovely interpretation - thank you. 😀
Heavenly music out of this world performance - brings tears of joy
Beautifully performed with that magical touch and feeling you put into all your performances.
Thanks, Mirto!
Just beautiful!!!!!

Another great transcription. Always a pleasure to hear your work.
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic!❤

Happy Birthday, Sandy! Thanks for checking out this latest arrangement!
Ich finde kaum Wörter, die meine Gefühle und Emotionen ausdrücken können. Einfach atemberaubend, grandios und meisterhaft!!!
Thank you so much, Almira!
Refreshing and impeccably produced. Thanks, Charles.
Thanks, Antonio!
Wow! Brilliant setting. Brilliant playing. Beautifully produced. Love it.
Thanks so much, Daniel!
Beautiful! Intrigued by your Kawai piano…I’ve not seen one like that. Sounds great! Thanks for sharing Charles.

Thank you for listening :-)
I’ve just recently discovered you and your soothing style. Is there a volume 2?

Thanks, Bethany! I'm playing my fav library, the Garritan CFX :-)
Those thirds seem effortless

I'm glad I exceeded your expectations with the middle bit!
Sounds wonderfull! Is that the garritan CFX vst im hearing?
Thanks! Yes, that's the Garritan CFX :-)
Such an amazing piece of music! And such a beautiful piano rendition of it! And that middle section when the music starts to soar!
Thanks, Barnie! Listening to the organ arrangement now!
Fantástico Charles, me apetecía mucho volver a oír tu magia al piano.
Thank you!
To much improv !
Sorry you don't like it! Crafting 8 to 16 bars of original music around the composer's work is one of the signatures of all of my arranging.
