I just got a bunch of these today at my Dollar Tree. Thank you for uploading this. I never thought to use the flat iron or the small iron I got to HTV shoes!
Loved this. What a good video that shows you how to heat press in so many ways. I however, never put my heat resistant tape over the vinyl like it is done here, as it stops it sticking. Not sure how it was done here though I looks like it stuck under the heat resistant tape Great work.
Literally the first thing I did when using that mini iron when I got it… was turn it all the way up… and then push down REAL HARD on the metal bar trying to put pressure on my htv decorating s pair of shoes for my daughter… omg I have never smelled burnt skin before that day 😭 and of course I’ve done it 3 times since then. But I just ordered some heat resistant barber gloves and a silicone sleeve for it (hallelujah)
I think I'm missing something. I keep trying to find these videos to put my daughters name and the year on a plush elf on the shelf from the dollar tree or something. But I don't have a fancy vinyl printer or anything I keep hearing about machines. My question is how can I get the lettering?! Should I go to Walmart and get each letter? I don't care about the font as long as it looks okay. Help, anyone? I have a regular inkjet HP printer.
The lettering with this vinyl is usually made with a machine called a Cricut or Silhouette. The machine cuts out the lettering and that’s how you get the name. You might be able to find some shops online or on Etsy that sell the specific lettering you are looking for. Hope this helps!

What machine do you use to print the words ?
I use a Silhouette Cameo to cut the HTV.
First time watching. Enjoyed it. I went to Fontbundle and it was 15.00 but i wasn’t sure if I had to buy a license also. Do you know?

Do the same with the philips perfect care iron to a teddy bear.
