Excellent explanation dear!! Not too much talking, not over complicated. Very simplistic! Excellent!!! I loved every minute of it. You’ve made this so seamlessly! 🥰
I’ve never tried vinyl and am a bit intimidated. I bought some vinyl at the Dollar Tree to practice on before using my Cricut brand. After watching this video, I feel confident to now try the vinyl (and I now know how to use the tools, too). Thank you, Angie!
I have not had great luck with the Dollar Tree vinyl but I do need to try it again and see if I can get it to work! That being said, I think the Dollar Tree version is just adhesive vinyl for things like glass and wood. I am not sure if they have HTV for fabric.
Thanks so much for this. You explained this so well. I've had the stuff to do this for ages but haven't attempted it because it felt too complicated. Not after watching this! Thank you!

Thank you so much for this video!! I needed this for projects today and you totally hit every nail with the hammer here and got every question answered!!
Thanks. I'm actually looking to cover a tatty window sill in a white rainbow glitter material. I think this was the tacky stuff that was on t-shirts in the 70s that I loved would be perfect. I was just thinking of adding velcro or mesh to the back. I don't have an iron tho I do have a really good hair dryer. I've been looking for materials for 2 days now, and I get this or car wrap 🤷♀️ will check your cottage videos, thanks x
@@AngieHolden I was thinking of buying this adding tape to the back and sticking it down 🤷♀️ but the plastic would need to stay on the top - I have no idea if that would work. Okay I might try car wrap 😅 x
I've just found another video probably explaining my thinking. It was the difference between this vinyl and self adhesive vinyl. Because I did buy a roll of brown leather but decided against it (I'm going to cover a pink bin instead). For the window sill I do want a pearlised white. So I thought get this heat transfer stuff and glue it on 😅 I'm a bit snow white and birds come to my window so it needs to be wipe clean not actual glitter x

You, out of a very few (like 3-4) are definitely one of my fav. and everyone crafting with cricut, etc. should be subscribed to you! thanks for another great video..
I think I might actually be able to do this!! Even your quick mention of how to “attach” was so dang helpful. I was so confused as to why my design kept splitting into a million pieces 🤨🤣Thank you thank you!! 🩷
Hello Angie! Thank you for the explanation. Just wondering if you can buy the clear transfer sheet on its own without the vinyl and use it for my own heat transfer projects?
Great video! I'm hoping I can use this method to iron back on a piece of vinyl print that came off one of my tshirts (I accidentally put it to wash in a hygiene steam mode on the washing machine).
OMGoodness! Finding your channel is a gift to be sure. Having come from old school silk-screening then on to the light bulb transfer silk-screening including hand drawn with permanent ink pens I am off to re-school myself about heat transfer/iron-on approach for t-shirts! Oh yes! Of course! If you have an ink jet printer, make sure the transfer you buy is marked for ink jet. Laser jet should be marked for laser jet. That is about it! You will want to follow the instructions exactly and really press down when ironing. I usually do mine on the floor so I can put my weight on it. I hope that helps!
Thanks for this video. It was very helpful. I am wanting to attach names to hearts cut out of cotton fabric. These hearts then are sewn onto a dog bandana.
