I bought a white elephant, 8 months ago when the neighbor had a sweet girl. Want to put her name on an ear. So glad I waited.. now I know how to do it. Thanks for the flock recommendation. Great video.
LOL, I've had this same Cricut cutter for years and never realized that it had a folding measuring ruler. LOL!!!!!! What a blooper on my part!!!!!! BTW Thanks for sharing all your tricks and advice. It has really helped me out a lot. Blessings for you and your lovely family!

Thank you! I heard on another video that HTV isn’t a good idea for anything shaggy…..thank you for showing a way as I see lots of cute stuffies that are shaggy!
👋👋👋👋👋👋👋👋 New subbie here and I just love your channel!! I'm new to Cricut and you explain everything so well. Thank you for these beautiful projects and I need to go shopping now!! 🤗🤗🤗🙏👍
Your channel is amazing!! Thank you sharing all of your knowledge. After seeing you I decided to start a cricut business to pay off debt and it’s going so great bc of what I’ve learned from you! I’d love to see more videos of what you sold in a month. Those are my favorites!
If you type universal or generic Cricut tools or supplies you will find scissors just like the cricut brand they also have mats and other tools that are great quality but at a much better price thanks again❤️
Sorry it took me a while to reply, I haven't been on here all summer. I just made an elephant tutorial and I show how to do the 2 colors. th-cam.com/video/v2tN_Z75e3Y/w-d-xo.html
I’m a newbie with a Cricut. My question is when you went to take off the covering over the letters you said it might be a cold or hot peel. Which is better and does it say which peel it is?
Thank you for your clear instructions! I am considering a Maker 3, and was searching for reasons to buy one. Found your channel, love the personalization idea. Have you ever melted the "fur" on your stuffed animals when ironing?
Hello Carrie! I am going to make one of the Easter baskets you suggested for my grandson and I was wondering if you had a suggestion of how to put a two initial name on the bunny without it looking odd.
Hi after watching your videos I made a small investment in gnomes and 2 other plushies …. I started with family and friends and in one day I had 2 orders … I felt defeated ….But I have 6sales in two days … just by sharing photos and mock ups and pic of the gnomes I took at home …🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏽🤞🏾🤞I hope I do well …thanks for your help and guidance ❤️❤️❤️❤️ also pure acetone removes vinyl off fabric … but try to test a small area first
First, this video is amazing! Thank you! I am going to do something like this on a few stuffies my LO got on a recent trip, but instead of her name I’ll do the place and date. Quick question though, one of the stuffies has longer fur than the unicorn… is there a certain length that this would not work on? I don’t want to ruin her stuffie it the fur is too long. TIA!
I feel inspired!! I really would like to buy a Cricut, but I’m new to all of this. What Cricut do you recommend? Can a Cricut Maker be enough or should I invest in the Cricut Maker 3?
Hello. Great video as always. What's the best mat to use for Siser htv vinyl? Strong or standard...I see some even use light grip. But I'm referring to the Siser glitter htv. Thanks!!
I really loved this video! Thank you so much. It was so helpful. I’m trying to personalize a bunny 🐰 and definitely help a lot. I just want to clarify something, the flocked can be used for both types of stuff animals? Thank you 😊
It can but I don't think flocked would work very well on small intricate lettering like I use on the elephant ears. I use Siser Easyweed HTV for the birth stats on the elephants
I really would love if you could compare materials...how many passes for each material on the Cricut and also show how you weed each type of material. I have problems with weeding and cutting. Thank you so much. 😊
I never wash our stuffed animals but I would just tell people to spot clean. You should be able to wash it without anything happening to the vinyl though. I would more worry about the stuffed animal turning into a sponge
Hi there!! 👋👋👋 you always help me by answering my questions. I finally got the courage to use flocked vinyl. When it cut, it was fuzzy around every letter😳 very fuzzy. Not a clean cut at all. Mind you, I'm using my new cricut maker with new blade. 🤷🏽♀️ where did I go wrong??? Thank you 💞
I'm sorry, I'm not sure! I haven't had that problem. Are you trying to make small cuts with it? The only thing I can think of is maybe if it's small intricate text or the blade is dull
Hi, looking to purchase a circuit for the first time to do this project, which machine do you suggest? Would the circuit joy be best for the elephant project?
This is fab. Lols at not ironing your clothes... I'm the same. I'm based in the UK, which iron setting did you use? Also, would you still recommend the mini press if I already have a mini steam iron as well as a regular clothes iron?
Thank you! I use the blend setting on my iron. I honestly wouldn't waste my money on the mini press. A clothes iron works just as good. Make sure there's no steam/water in it though! It must be dry.
👋👋👋👋🥰🥰🥰 Hello again! Still learning here. Question ... I noticed these 2 name projects weren't welded. Is it not necessary? Thanks so much always!!! You're a great cricuter 😊 💞
Honestly I don't wash our stuffed animals, I just spot clean if needed. So I'm not sure how it would hold up in the wash. I have shirts that I've made with the same vinyl and those hold up forever.
FYI, if you're in the UK you have to do CE / UKCA testing of these after you've modified them, as you are then the manufacturer. This is even if the toy you've bought had the CE / UKCA mark to begin with. Wanted to point it out as I didn't realise at first and could have gotten myself into legal trouble if I had made and sold any!
@@Cricuter it's a grey area, but not really. Anything that has "play appeal" should be tested. You've got more ability to sell it as a keepsake if it's made of clothing, for example. Also applies to things like keychains if they have a little doll or something else that a child might decide to play with! I'm still learning all the rules, and I haven't even got my cricut yet 😂
Thanks for the tutorial! I love personalizing stuffed animals. I am just getting started. I typically try to find short-fur animals, but struggle to find many of those. Do you have any specific places that you like to buy those from? I love a lot of the longer-fur animals, but I worry that the vinyl will not last. If I am going to start selling these, I want to make sure I am creating a product that will last. Do you ever have issues with vinyl not staying on the long fur?
The shorter fur ones are definitely better. I like the bedtime originals line on Amazon. I just posted a tutorial on how to make an elephant and there's links to the animals in the video description th-cam.com/video/v2tN_Z75e3Y/w-d-xo.html
I looked on Amazon for flocked vinyl but I’m not familiar with any of the company names. I don’t want to buy something that won’t work. Can you tell me which flock product you prefer> thanks in advance for your help!
hi again! great video! i was wondering where you get your stuffed animas from? I know you said five below, amazon, and walmart, but i can never seem to find any good, inexpensive ones. Thank you! EDIT: I just got back from walmart and found some cute stuffed animals! Thanks Kerri!
What needle in cricut maker do you use to cut glitter material bc I use fine print needle and I put "more" bc it doesn't cut but even that doesn't work so what am I doing wrong?
@@Cricuter no, it's brand new. I just got a replacement cricut maker from cricut bc the 1st one I bought retired itself but neither one cuts through the material.
