She was not only the greatest comedian, she was a truly great thoughtful, caring human being. She is the only star in my 50 years of living/working in Hollywood, that I have heard so many stories about from others who knew or worked with her talking about her incredible kindnesses and thoughtfulness towards others.
I really like the host. He was very respectful towards Lucille. I have been reading a lot of articles during the 80s of people bashing Lucy. I don't understand why those people went after her they way they did in the 80s. I have seen articles from the Los AngelesTimes bashing her and other critics. She is a legend. You don't disrespect legends.💯
Still gorgeous - look how GORGEOUS her hands are - even going into her 70s. Intelligent, honest and direct in her speech - what a wonderful expereince to simply listen to her.
I have fair skin and wear a little makeup. However, I put some lotion on and then the bit of blush turns out red. I don't realize, but it is similar to how Lucy's cheeks look here. I am always surprised when someone takes a picture of me - red cheeks all right

Being told its impossible is being told "Im possible"
❤🙏
You can hear all the cigarettes she smoked in her voice. She was a CHAIN smoker her whole life.
Most of her life but not all of her life. She quit around 1985, doctor's orders.
Actually, her voice was low and somewhat raspy - even when she played Lucy on tv her voice was high pitched.
She was very honest, about her ability to not be funny
7:00 you were plenty funny my dear 😂🌹
She had to been a smoking mf😂😂
Man her makeup artist did a terrible job to her for this interview and the host of this show was being creepy being so close to her like that.
That was Merv Griffin, and he did that with everyone. People weren’t so precious then.
@@fredricardo3272what a silly thing to say… they were precious! Hollywood was a tough place even then
I guess you''ve never watched Drew Barrymore.

She was the funniest comedian to date then. Don’t judge.
