Mr. President, history will judge you so kindly. In the 1970s, even mere sugar was being imported into the country. Amin’s government even had a minister in charge of basic utilities like sugar, salt and soda because these were too scare.
@@tyronsimpson2143 It’s unfortunate in the 21st century we’ve people living with Stone Age mentality! Do you know how many Ugandans make a living outside their country including India?
Shame on you Museveni and NRM government for having spent 38 years in power and failed to build a bigger, robust, & profitable sugar factory/industries by only relying on these foreigners to build Uganda! What these indians are doing in Uganda is Cultural Imperialism that's why they dont inter-marry with the indigenous population! They want to create their own separate indian community! This is very insulting to real ugandans! You people like the Musevenis may consider these indians as ugandans but the fact of the matter is, these indians don't see themselves as Ugandans! That's why they celebrate by playing and dancing indian songs instead of the indigenous ugandan songs even after living 100 years in Uganda! In this, i miss Idi Amin and i hope one day Uganda will be ruled by a true son of the soil who puts interests of local indigenous population ahead of foreigners' interests! God have mercy on our country!

Please museven support local Manufacturer like the way you support the indian manufacturer
Local manufacturer doesn’t mean an Indian isn’t local. Local manufacturer means that business uses locally available inputs.
@@kasulebriankalule2129Like a Ugandan or anyone else can open a shop or businesses in India. Idi was right all along

Very good explanation.
But this is not a shop...if u had 1 million dollars u think u would not go open up a shop in India? We are talking about investments here....
Long live Gen M7, Gen MK and UPDF fraternity.
