Nice rundown! Would you happen to know when the 880v14 is coming out? That's definitely coming out in 2024 right? Also will you be trying the Triumph 22?
I don’t know about the 880v14, but I would assume it would come out with their other Fresh Foam shoes in February-March. I’m still in college, so I really only review the shoes I have, but I would be interested in trying out the Triumph. I tried on the 20 in a store once, and it just wasn’t the right foot shape. The 22 does look very different and I might have to try it. Thanks for the comment!!!!
880v14 is March 1st, 2024. Though as soon as retailers get it they are allowed to sell, per new balance employee. "expect to see in customers hands around early feb"
It does, both the Elite and Trainer have the same plate. It is thinner than the one in the Trainer v1 and 2, to save weight, but they claim that it is stiffer. Thanks for the comment!
FOR WHOM ALL THESE EXPENSIVE SHOES ARE FOR???? THIS HAS BECOME A JOKE. ALL THE COMPANIES MAKE NEW VERSIONS ..JUST TO HAVE NEW VERSIONS. EXPENSIVE....AND USELESS .........DO THEY THINK THAT PEOPLE HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO CHANGE SHOES EVERY MONTH??
I agree! Shoe prices are getting outrageous. I almost never buy shoes when they are full price. I am very confused at why the Pacer 2 is going to be $200 and the SC Trainer, that uses twice as much foam and resources is $180.
