I'm a contemporary singing specialist based in Australia and today's react is to KZ Tandingan covering Royals (Lorde). She certainly made this song her own! If you enjoyed this video; like, sub and click the bell icon for more.

Yes KZ speaks English. It is the medium of instruction in the schools here in the Philippines and she is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Biology. She could have been a doctor until she won XFACTOR Phils. 1st edition in 2012, and she shot up to fame for her musicality.
I've never seen anyone react to her rendition of the Royals first… But cool! Usually it's her rendition of rolling in the deep. Please make that next!

Thank you, you have solidified my opinion of you as my absolute favourite musical reacter. K Z is incredable, and I am thrilled and ecstatic you have found her. Since you seemed genuinely impressed by her energy, you will be blown away by "Rollong in the Deep." Her versions of "Say Something," and 'a medley of chines songs, in Mandarin' are completely antithetical. tear jerkers of the highest order. Fun fact: apparently she learned the Mandarin in less than a week! Interesting point: (Tara Simon)'the highest note she hits is ',C' but her performances are so exhilerating, so original, so moving, so commited, and so enjoyable that it doesn't matter in the least.

I've watched this performance a million times and still got chills and goosebumps everytime!!! We love KZ!!!! 🥰❤
What's amazing is that there's so much energy, that both her orchestra and KZ feed off each other. The synergy of the dynamics and intensity is without comparison. No other performer can express this vibe with precision and exemplary timing. Her voice is like a instrument within the orchestra's composition or is the orchestra taking cues from her muti- talented rhythm transitions. Her styles blend so well together that there's no pauses in her execution and levels of energy. Simply breathtaking and beyond belief that her orchestra and her voice are made for each other. You can tell there is a very strong bond that brings out the very best of their abilities. The musicians must love performing with her. There's never a dull moment in this performance.
Great to see a youtube reactor wearing at least quality headphones while reacting to singers. Seriously, I dont get how others can react without some proper audio equipment. How can they hear the vocal nuances of singers with scratchy speakers? Anyway, great video, and reaction. good job!

Her style is putting several genre in one song. Rock, soul, pop, jazz, rap, etc.
Almost every one speaks English in the Philippines. It's taught in schools as a second-language from grade-school to university.. Even in the farthest corners of the country. Also, every province speak a different dialect. Most people speak more than one. Plus Spanish is taught in Catholic schools on top of Tagalog and English.

Yes. We speak English as our 2nd language. If you haven't heard about Philippines, then try to check it out and Google it. "Land of great singers and it's more fun in the Philippines." By the way, just to let you know here in our country, singing is very normal and part of our daily routine..kids and adult alike. It doesn't matter how good or bad is your english. ❤😊🎉

ANd yes she arranges her own songs. She had throat issues before so she had to switch from belting and high notes (something kind of expected in the Philippines I guess) to something less strenuous and also added rapping to her repertoire
