She got eliminated because she's making every song she sings her own, thus, a big threat to the music industry. Another thing is that, judges were only looking for singers, KZ is someone more than that... She's not just a singer but an Artist as well...

They add up the scores and when Jessie J got sick they changed some rules (which everyone agreed to). The votes were limited to the audience alone, if I wasn't mistaken. They count the votes manually, as seen in the episodes

She’s a great storyteller. The way she sang it made me understand the song more, her voice and that peculiar accent expressed well the desperation and insecurity of “living that fantasy” of extravagance. “And we’ll never be royals”..
I want what she's on...her energy is mind blowing 🤯. If you haven't seen her perform Hello from the Singer then trust me YOU MUST!!
Until now I didn't get how and why KZ eliminated at this round with that super powerful and amazing performance she gave. Sigh

KZ had vocal injury early in her life. She’s very versatile and a complete performer. She had to experiment which vocal range works for her. She used to be a belter but it’s not necessary for her because she is just an amazing talented music artist . She’s got the IT factor. I just love her.

real reason was that they paid Jessie J tons of dollars to be on that show... So she needs to win at all cost but they didn't expect KZ to be a monster to reckon with on that show. But Jessie J is great too! love her

Check out the short Y.Tube video "KZ Tandingan meets Jessie J" which happened earlier on the day of her "Rolling In The Deep" performance. She told Jessie J what an influence she was, and mentioned her past polyps problems. Also, KZ just got married a couple of months ago.

It still boggles my mind that KZ's performance of Royals was voted worst of all the performances on that episode and KZ was eliminated. She did make a few more performances after that including singing with Jessie J in the finale.
The one who won the contest is of course the famous Jessie J. Jessie J's performances had no surprises and twists. Nothing special unlike KZ gave us out of the box performance.

@@Tech-gv6qk this is not her last performance. She still perform 3 songs. After her elimination she perform for the Comeback Round and before finals she perform for Breakout Round (wildcard round). Then she still don't win so Jessie J invite her as surprise guest on her final performance.

This song was big and it had everything in it. But it needed to be big to stand out but it wasn't overly done because it could go there easily. A journey indeed all in a few minutes. So happy you got to hear this SST. Oh and your plants are growing nicely, the one by your mic is doing well.
