Also a Disengage roll is needed every time a Character announces their intention to move from a space adjacent to an enemy. If the roll fails, all movement points are lost in that movement action. Following this rule would have curbed some of the power of Gata.

great distillation of gameplay here with good camera and music. one correction, however: state tokens (dazzled, etc) only change in the *last* step of a character's activation. so, once the character is *actively taking a turn* and is done with everything else, THEN the states change or expire.
I'm 3 years late to the party here. But, my first game of Aristeia ended similarly. I played the team you did and was beaten! Blasphemy, for sure! I think I have the same corrupted dice!
Even though that was a "brutal" game, it looked like a really fun game to play with a sort of an Overwatch look. Sorry the game was one-sided with the bad dice rolls, but the look and the pace of the game got my attention.
I saw a couple of guys play this at the club in Madrid, Spain this week and was wondering what it was. Anyone know if Miranda ever plays any WH40K or Age of Sigmar. I've seen loads of Warmachine / Hordes on here though.

Now I am on the fence between getting into Infinity and now this game. A whole different concept, especially with the cards. Miranda I am subbing because your of your level of intellect in understanding the concept to these games "levels up' your hotness.
I just can't get into games with gimmicky proprietary dice. I used to have an entire bag of dice that I couldn't use in any games that I was currently playing. I bought a bunch of fireworks and blew them up. It was the most fun I had with any of them.

Yeah, Gata seemed incredible powerful, disengaging and bopping about. Good to read there was a disengage issue.

This is the first version of the game I saw where the minis where not horribly bent, misplaced on the base or overflown with glue out of the box ;)

On 12:35 how did Maximus get 2 wounds? He has a built in block and 1 block on the blue die.

Little late and you've probably already made your choice, but why not both? A majority of the characters are useable in Infinity.

Do you do the same with tokens or pieces that can't be used elsewhere? If it's included in the box, I hardly see that being a reason avoid a game.
I hate both game-specific dice and tokens.
