- @crochetcabin6160 Crochet ear warmer, headband. Easy and fast project beginners friendly. To make this headband, I started with 70 chains, the fit is comfortable for an adult woman size, about 21-22"/52-53cm head circumference. If you need a different size, I suggest sizing down 1"/2cm. considering the stretch and always, make an even number of chains for this stitch.
In this video I used:
Crochet Hook J/6.00mm
Yarn Red Heart Super Saver, medium worsted weight n.4, color Saffron.
The headband measures:
Width 4"/10cm
Length (folded) 10"/25cm
I used 1.20oz/34gr of yarn
Average Head Circumference:
Preemie (2-3 lbs.) 10/11 in. 25-28 cm
Preemie (4-5 lbs.) 11/12 in. 28-33cm
Preemie (5-6 lbs.) 12-13 in. 31-33 cm
Newborn 13 in. 33 cm
Baby (0-3 months) 14-15 in. 36-38 cm
Baby (3-6 months) 15-17 in. 38-43 cm
Baby (6-12 months) 16-18 in. 41-46cm
Toddler (1-3 years) 18-20 in. 46-51cm
Child 19-20 in. 48-51cm
Teen 20-22 in. 53-56 cm
Adult Woman 21-22 in. 54-57 cm
Adult Man 23-24 in. 58-61 cm
