just a day or 2 ago i watched someone else do a reaction to janis joplin doing another song, and they said pretty much the same thing. they also mentioned that they love the imperfections in her voice and that they thought that's exactly what made her such a great singer. i guess i'd never thought about it, because i grew up with her and my thinking had always been kinda that she has a great voice, is such a great singer, and that'a just the way things are. i love seeing these songs through someone else's eyes so i can get a new perspective.

The last song of this concert (Stockholm, Sweden 69) blows away anything l've seen live. 'Work me Lord' which you reacted to already (but got the wrong performance of that song) is the most passionate performance of a song l've ever witnessed. Please give it a go, you won't regret it.
