Coconut is full of nutrients like calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, vitamin C, etc. Much of the fat in coconut is in the form of medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs). One research on the benefits of MCTs in people with obesity found these fats promote body fat loss when eaten in place of long-chain saturated Fats from animal foods like ghee, butter etc.

    Thanks man for the information. A question - it is recommended to drink or eat coconut oil empty stomach everyday. It did cause indigestion to me if I tried that. Any advise on this way of drinking coconut oil as this consumption method is popular in wester world?
