I-4 not v4! V is the shape of the engine and it’s not used on 4 cylinder engines though there are some very rare but you’ll see it in six cylinders and up (v6,v8, etc) it makes the engine more compact so that the car doesn’t have to be wider. For example a V6 is shorter than an i-6.

I have a ‘12 5.0 and ‘18 10 speed 5.0(mustang) & a ‘98 white accord. Always hated on lil 4 cylinder or 6 motors but starting to like them.
I'm a die hard v8 guy but these 4 cylinders make some crazy power with a turbo lol

I just did a JDM swap on my Accord 2000, my next move would be to prep it up for a turbo, any suggestions for this build ?
Giving that it's a jdm swap meaning a f23a then it should be healthy but I would do atleast water pump timing belt head gasket and arp head studs at the bare minimum and your engine should be ready for boost

Yes compression test,fuel pump,injectors timing belt water pump head gasket and arp head studs forsure and something to be able to tune it with

Depends on your budget h22 are awesome engines just expensive compare to a f20b swap

You can I'd recommend doing a compression test first to check the health of the engine and atleast do arp head studs

What kinda turbo kit did you install on the accord
Custom turbo manifold and everything else was off of ebay with that setup but now it's got bunch of stuff from maxpeedingrods on it

My engine was rebuilt and aslong as it has good compression and is healthy go for I would recommend doing timing belt water pump mls head gasket and arp head studs before boosting it though

Yes I ran 10 psi stock engine with head gasket and head studs all the way up to 14 psi
