On the other hand, there is nothing more inaccurate than a snub nosed revolver. I think they make dragon's breath in 410. 5 rounds of dragon's breath will scare off grizzlies or gang bangers. Don't know if I could hit them outside of 15 yds, but I'll make them auto-load their underwear when it goes off. There are definitely fun options.
@@jameswarner3450 lol, I agree. I just want to start the dialogue and come to the conclusion of where do you draw the line from truck gun to conceal carry…. Hopefully this will start it. Great comment👍👍
@@jackrabbit1379 That's easy for me. If I'm moving all day, like in the woods, I wouldn't notice it. But I can't SIT around all day with anything like a jumbo, tupperware, revolver on my hip, 3,6, or appndx. That's more annoying than ounces being pounds...
@@jameswarner3450 🤣
Some noses all have bad performance I shot a 38 Special snub nose at a desk and it didn't penetrate close range 2 ft
Any Pistol that fires Buck Shot, Slugs, Long Colt and Bird Shot, is bad A**……. People down Bird Shot, put a paper target at 10 to 15 ft…. Anyone running after you, and you fire bird shot, there eyes and face would be damage…. It’s worth it, Long Colt would also knock anyone on their A**!!!!
Agreed 100% the only issue I have with the bird shot is if you didn’t hit them in the face and the only issue I have with the 45 long colt is the barrel doesn’t have enough burn to get the true velocity from that round, it’s just not long enough but it still will kill you don’t get me wrong👍👍
Keep mine in my center console and its got a Pachmayr grip and buckshot in it
So I have to ask, do you carry this or is it more for carjacking protection. Just curious.
@@jackrabbit1379 it is so I always have something close
I searched the web, Winthrop Holsters in Cleveland has closed.
That’s too bad 😔
Use speed strips
I changed the grip too
Shit 3 feet in a yard 15 yards thats almost 50 feet almost be in trouble shoot someone that far away lol so that being said most defensive shootings occur within 21 feet pdx1 or any of the rounds designed for it will blow thru 3 quarter inch plywood at 20 feet no doubt and be in a group tight enough for all hits to land not to mention 45 long colts no slouch and accurate out to 50 yards with plenty of stopping power I personally carry 2 pdx1 rounds as my first 2 shots then follow up with 1 225 grain Hardcast waddcutter 1025 fps followed by a 225 grain hornady fxt hollow point and another hard cast behind that pretty sure that would put a man down plus you can get good slugs in 410 thats rated 1800 fps so yeah its very capable...but only intended to use with 410 defensive loads out to 25 feet tops but with anything else slugs 45 long colt very capable rounds past 50 yards
I have the blue one
those .410 critical defense shells jam my 3"inch judge revolver, anybody else getting the same results?
Thant’s a
Great question, interested in reading comments on this. Thanks for the comment 👍👍
I’ve seen standard 410 rounds made for shotguns jam cylinders because of the clearance but have not had that issue with mine, I shoot the hornady critical defense, I’ve also shot #6 Remington standard shot shells and had no issue. Don’t have too much choice as it is difficult to buy 410 and 45 colt
I have both Taurus 357 Magnum. I know this is a 410 video. Normally I carry my 9mm Taurus pt111 and my 605 .357 as my backup firearm
All comments are welcome, I also have Taurus 357 poly 605 I did a video on that one a few weeks ago also have the stainless one . I do not have any of their semi automatic pistols yet, what do you like about it? Iam thinking of picking one up
@@jackrabbit1379 the g3c has a better trigger than the PT 111. I actually have every lineup of the semi-automatic pistols. Some of them I have two of.
I have the pt111, g2c, g3c,g3 and I just got new Toro out of the g series
The only thing I would say with the semi-automatic pistols is Polish the feed ramp. The finish on the feed ramp makes it hard for the hollow points well at least some of the hollow points. I carry Lehigh defense maximum expansion or federal HST Deep
@@necummins8696 I have been eyeballing the g3, and been thinking about ordering the Lehigh ammo how do you like it?
Great snake, varmint and pest killer!
Taurus Judge for a carry gun yes?
Mine is desert brown n black
I like the looks of that one better, I couldn’t find one when I bought this one
@@jackrabbit1379 I got lucky on arms list also got 200 rounds came with it, I’m still experimenting with the ammo they all have different damages
that is a zombie get off me gun
