Sow Defends Cub Crazy Black Bear Footage

Watch the raw power of a female black bear defend her cub against a massive jet-black boar. Racing down through a clear-cut at breakneck speed she sends the old boar high up a larch pine and chases him to the very top. This is some of the rarest black bear footage ever captured in the wild of two bears fighting in a tree. A mother’s love is second to none! Over the course of six minutes plus she uses her teeth to rip every branch off the tree in order to get to the male bear. Males will try to kill any cub they can, which brings the female in to heat again for breeding purposes. The old boar clings on for dear life at nearly 100 feet off the ground in the face of a sow gone wild.
