  • Hard to believe! Very unusual wild Bob-White bird. This bird showed up out of the blue and got up close and personal. Watch (1:32) as it takes the stage and sings for your entertainment! One of natures beautiful sights to see! Wild!
Thumbs up if you like it!

Thank you so much for this video. Where I live, I used to hear these beautiful bird sounds ALL the time in the spring, back in the 1970's and 80's ... now, I don't know what's happened to them. It's only on rare occasions which I hear them anymore. Wish I could hear them (and the whippoorwill) much more than I do ..... they bring back such wonderful, loving memories of my childhood!!! Thank you for posting this video.

In the 60s in Indiana we would hear them all the time especially in the Summer.

I think he was in a playful mood! He didn't want you to have HIS flower!SO cute! It doesn't happen very often when wild birds get so close while singing a song for you! Were you 'whistling" first -then he'd reply? It's happened to me quite a few times (especially when I was young (like 8,9 yrs old) actually last week bird just come right up to me! There are some I can actually touch! They really are one of the prettiest and most precious of God's creatures! Let alone their songs!

I know it’s been quite a few years since you posted this and I thank you. Growing up there were a lot of Quail where I live and the population has declined dew to development. I haven’t heard any in years. Just recently one has moved into a little splotch of wood by my house. I’m hoping to keep him close, plan on getting some feed for him.

Yes, I'd whistle to get him to react while filming him. Beautiful moment! Thanks for watching!

That was way too cool! I just loved the way the male bird picked the flower out of your hand like that. That was awesome. And he did not fly away at all! Awesome!
Oh, by the way! I have a video that I made for the first time on one of these fantastic birds. I'll try to upload it on my channel under Uploaded Videos. :D

No, these quails are very friendly , probably why the population of them is declining. They are sweet and playful birds, and very fast, but love the attention and are quite curious birds.

I have just noticed I had a strange bird hanging around my house. Googled it amd noticed I have one around my house. Do they live in groups? What do they eat so I can throw food out amd keep him or her around. I will have to try the whistle the next time I see it
