I guess I just never paid much attention to pheasants before. They are actually beautiful birds. Very colorful.
I don’t think I paid attention to how pretty pheasants were, either, until I saw one that looked like a pheasant in an insect documentary called, “Microcosmos”. It was pecking and eating for ants on the ground, and then it flew away with its striking plumage. After seeing closeups of them on bird feeder cams, I started appreciating them even more.
