    Seeing you eating durian ice cream at the end reminded me of something that cracked my up when I was in Chiang Mai a few weeks ago. There were big signs in the hotel elevators not saying "No smoking in rooms," rather "No durian allowed in rooms!" 5555. Stinky stuff. Looked like a lot of good food to eat.

    • @Chai_Travel
      @Chai_Travel  ปีที่แล้ว

    Jalan Alor is developed for tourist. Its not for locals and theres nothing wrong with it. It doesnt represent Malaysia's culture tho. Even the seller is not aware that mangoes are grown here lol. Come on there are mango trees in my lawn. There are similar street in Japan which is called Nakamise Dori, Asakusa or Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. Very touristy but at least it is selling 100% local stuffs. Anyway, great that you enjoyed Jln Alor.

    Yes Chai, I like how open-minded you are to different foods and places you explore. Jalan Alor is a street food haven for foodies and people should stop accusing the place as a tourist slaughter house. The food operators there are now upfront about their prices, and its all in the menu that's displayed in front of their stalls or restaurants. Enjoy!✌️

    • @Chai_Travel
      @Chai_Travel  ปีที่แล้ว +1
