  • I have power. After what feels like forever. Could have done it sooner if I didn't tunnel under the paths, old workshop and house to avoid cutting up the super hard concrete they used after ww2 building the paths and foundations.
    Thanks for watching

Getting there mate, glad to see you rescued the chuck from the Ward, it looked to be a good quality chuck and I'd not seen one with jaws like that before. I've also get 3 phase sorted again, busy this weekend wiring up all the interlock sockets

Yeah, I saved a few bits off it like the die heads that were loaded in the capstan. It's still really upsetting that it got damaged, thinking about it now I probably should have just unloaded it and popped it outside the shed under a tarp and waited to see if a capstan assembly ever came up but, I was in a bit of a shitty mood once I saw it and just felt extremely irritated. Especially as I was told it would be collected with an enclosed truck, not a builders type tipper. Regardless, I'm still really greatfull you thought of me when you needed to part ways with it..... I'd hire a trailer and move it myself if I have to move anything again turned out the "easy way" didn't pay off

Nice shop compared to when I stated watching two years ago. I started watching when you made the mini oil heaters. I even made a couple to heat my shop for that winter.

I'll be making a new heater for this shed soon, I have a few ideas I want to play with.
Thank you very much for following along for the past two years 😀

My heater I installed a sand battery above it. Built from old 7gal. Propane tank. Exhaust pipe from heater goes though tank sand, heating sand and hold heat after oil heater is turned off. Works great.
      Thanks for sparking the ideas.

Yeah, a lot of jobs were just daunting to think about, let alone actually undertake so I stopped thinking about filming anything for the channel and just tried to clear jobs off the list but, yesterday was nice to achieve a small step in an area that I'm really just happy about. Today is clear up time.... nowhere near as nice lol.
Thanks for watching and for being one of the few who always follow along with what im doing 😊

This is rough as guts mate hahaha I love it! Your workshop looks like mine haha! One of your machines probably needs some electrical love, get yourself an insulation resistance tester to suss her out! I haven't seen your old setup but I with D curve CB with and RCD should work for the equipment if it was faulting before IMHO!
      Have a nice day!

@TradieTrev there's no issues with it I just didn't have any rcds to handle the load. Once I have the funds I'll get some but they will only be for fire protection on 3 of the circuits as a 30ma won't function with the really high load demands of the converter and my welding and plasma equipment But, Ive put a 63amp 30ma onto the standard circuits, lights and 13amp 240v
