I like that we're starting to get a +5 copy of the item for getting to lv 100 in the raid, use those extra medals to get another survival vest.
There's a part of me that hopes the next "catch up" buff/mechanic older units start getting is a 4th equipment slot. There's so many pieces of gear that are interesting or unique that never see the light of day with our current setup.
I'm digging the extra videos and deeper dives into game mechanics, equipment, and VCs. Keep up the great vids!
very helpful. With the new dmg down based on aoe size coming in hot it was confusing to understand how it compares to aoe rez - nice to have the direct comparrion to brig+6. I suppose single target rez is still important

Hey RPW, thanks for the research into this. Do you know if the effect on this item is dispellable from attacks that “remove damage reduction the larger the AOE”, such as Jeume’s LB
Thanks! It's not dispellable because stats from equipment, VCs, espers, are never dispellable, only active buffs from abilities
Oh, was Oberon aoe break a crush as well? From wotv Calc I thought it was just an aoe res break like we used to have.

Hey RPW! Can you do a video deconstructing imperils and resistance piercing? Like for def pen is the percentage a 1:1 removal of defence or does it remove the defence as a percentage? Ie 80 def pen vs 10 def leaving 2 defence?

Jeume can solo this raid even without using bells. I was being lazy and trying to see how far i could get before i would have to toggle abilities and she really clears lvl 100 without using a tmr buff

Don't most of the used bowtie users skip the weapon in the first place?
Not all actually! Often but not always, Top 5 that triple Greatsword team we frequently see Astrius use the bowtie with the Save the Queen sword. But yeah certainly the benefits of the BowTie typically outweigh any kind of damage from a weapon. It's only the weapons with VERY special attributes (like some of these newer ones) that add more than just offensive value.
@@ReadyPlayerWill I wasn't aware that there are dps that want the bowtie. I was in the thought of tanks using it tbh, might build astrius if I get him while trying for ashen mont the next time he's on a banner
