Sad…. I bought about 8 or so Hue lights about 6 years ago, at best, though I’m thinking it was 3 or 4 years ago…. I only have ONE left that works. *edit* yes, I’m talking about the really expensive full color A19 bulbs.
Yo, but the way you presented this material in a very layman’s way for common people like me to understand is fire. I’ll have to show the youngins this. 🎉
10:28 "16 million colors" I hate seeing this on smart color bulb marketing. Fact is, unless they offer a way to fully control RGB values instead of just a "slide the indicator in the color wheel". You don't have access to all those colors. No one's control of on a small screen such as a phone or tablet is that precise. Period.
I have meross smart bulbs and i always need to remove and add again. Can anyone tell me the best bulbs that dont always disconnect? Most days when i say hey google turn on the lights, it says not connected. I have google nest and home mini.
I know it may sounds stupid but do you actually turn off these lights from the switch of your home? Because if you do they cannot work and google nest will say the device its not connected. You should always keep open the lights of your house and turn them off by google nest command. Same goes for the Television if you have added it to the google home.

I want to put 3-4 dozen color changing bulbs in outside hallways on a condominium. Adding WiFi across this vast area is expensive. Do any of these bulbs respond to power line commands so controller can attach to breaker box reducing cost significantly. As an engineer, working with line voltage is fine.
Should of checked this before getting a rgb bulb that broke after 200h lol. Red doesnt work so i can only put green and blue nothing else no orange pink purple nothing at all only green and blue...

Of all the smart devices I’ve purchased, the color LED bulbs are probably the most useless. Smart plugs and switches are much more stable and reliable. Guess I’m not a romantic because all those colors don’t do anything for me - just give me a bright white light for me to see!

Any of the plastic LEDS are complete garbage. They all belong in the recycle bin. GE makes an actual glass bulb with the led circuit inside. They burn like 13w. Of electricity. I will always buy the GE glass, or regular old school bulbs.
