I need help. My Prime Megatron has some serious loose joints issues and I want to know if it’s possible to fix it because a thousands coats of nail polish on the ball joints are not cutting it at all
Imma be honest, I never tried this myself and I don't know if the would be a difference from the polish but I've heard ppl use gorilla glue and or crazy glue..... supposedly it basically the same process, build up layers.... Another that I've heard is some kinda tack/putty....but again, I never tried.... Jus offering up two things I've heard. I believe videos can be found on TH-cam but I don't hv any links....
We NEED more Transformers Prime figures. The show's designs are fantastic and it's one of my favorite series of all time. There is a criminal lack of high quality Prime stuff out there, even for popular characters like Optimus and Megatron
Same here. TF Prime and Beast Wars are my favourite. I love the TF Prime animation. We need larger MP scale figures from the show that are accurate in not only scale, but colour and both modes. I'd love a larger TF Prime Megatron that doesn't have that flight mode backpack in robot mode but a back that looks accurate to the show and hidden away parts.
I find it so interesting how similar the transformation is to the Studio Series Optimus, while not exact, a lot of the engineering for the front of the truck is almost 1 to 1, while the legs have a vague hint of it.
I really want to see a beast hunters version of this optimus. It's been something I really want to see, and this optimus version looks great! I can't wait for the shattered glass version review if it ever happens
I dunno why Hasbro doesn't reissue the first edition TFPrime figures. They're arguably the best representation of those characters, and between R.E.D. and Legacy, it seems like they're doing everything they can to NOT reissue them. Which is wierd since they've shown their willingness to reissue g1 and Beast Wars.
Meh, Beast Wars to me was wayy cooler than G1 anyway, so I basically don't see the problem with Hasbro bringing Beast Wars back, you jealous or somethin'?? Lol.
In my personal opinion, the chrome version was the superior color scheme. The silver on the legs, abdomen, and thighs, to me, were a lot more screen accurate, as well as the chrome was better. The only thing that this version makes up for is the fact that you do get a version of the Star Saber that looks as if it is powered down or not active, just in my opinion.
Yeah I can definitely see why the chrome version would be preferred. Personally I’ve always loved this almost striker deco. Kinda reminds me of when Prime fights Megatron and the end of S1 and it’s dark ect
Agreed, this version is slick but I prefer the chrome one too. I hope APC get round to doing Bulkhead and even some of the human characters to pose with them.
FE OP still stands as one of the best Optimus prime toys ever made, thou neither Hasbro or takara ever did the figure in the show colour scheme, but APC Toys did and I have that in my collection as well as the Takara FE OP, the only Prime figure I don't have of the FE, is BB, I wasn't much of a fan of the character look back then, then I was begining to get sick of BB being a mute, it wasn't really working outside of one scene in ROTF, where he plays "I'm so excited!" If you ask me, its the biggest mistake they made to make BB a mute, it detracts from his character and you expect me to believe a super advanced, alien race of robots cannot repair a voice box?
Great review of an amazing Transformer from back in the day. The Prime line had such a strange release in that they had original first edition molds for most of the main figures but then released cheaper dumbed down versions for the second release. Luckily I was able to not only find the elusive deluxe class versions of Optimus, and Megatron, but most of the first edition releases with the exception of Bulkhead which was the second release, but for the most part decent. Not entirely sure as everything's in storage but I think Ultra Magnus was based on the second release of this mold, and not the first though I remember them being very similar.
I would definitely LOVE to have a representation of Transformers Prime Optimus. One of my favorite incarnations of the valiant Autobot Supreme Commander to have ever existed. (Before anyone comes for me, note I said ONE of my favorites, as in he's on a list of favorite variations)
I wish the TF Prime figures were large in scale to Optimal Optimus or larger. They'd look great next to the beast wars figures and I always wanted a larger Megatron from the show. A large 3rd party show accurate figure with hidden away parts of his vehicle mode and especially his new body from Predacons Rising when Unicron changed it.
Version 2.0 is the best. has the most paint apps and show accurate colors for both the figure and the weapons. Great that it's getting another version release for people who may have missed it though.
Better than the chrome version, in my opinion. Sure it's less show accurate, but these colours are much more cohesive and give the figure a really appealing "toyetic" vibe.
This is my first APC figure and I am in love with it. I loved the TF Prime designs and APC really brought the quality, with a decent price. Waiting for Arcee to come in now and hope to order additional TF Prime releases in the future. ((Hoping for another standard TF Prime Megatron release.))

Thx to you PvP , my copy arrived today!! Really excited , two blasters , two blue blades , additional head sculpt and a Star Saber !!!!??? I mean waaaay better than my Hasbro First Edition . I used to love it but couldn't understand as to why the knuckle head at hasbro decided to leave the side windows unpainted to brown !!! I later learned that it was a re-release. Hated the flimsy rubber smoke stacks and blade. The only thing I like and will keep from Hasbro is the box which is epic. But my FE OP is going bye bye to be sold. After the release of this video , I purchased this on the 2nd day then after it ended as sold out even til now. I'm lucky!!! Really not a problem for me being a KO as it's a perfect copy !! 👌
Can't believe they've been making this decos over and over all this years: the original deco, japanese deco, clear plastic version, premium editions and 2 black decos but we still don't have a Nemesis Prime deco. Or even just a blue repaint to make an Ultra Magnus Custom. Nemesis even requires less accesories.
I've always looked up to Optimus Prime and when I first seen transformers prime I was really impressed with how they did Optimus transformers prime Optimus is my favorite Optimus I really like that figure Optimus Prime is my favorite autobot

@PrimeVsPrime The Takara version wasn't a exclusive, it was wide spread available everywhere it just sold out really fast. But at one time, it was the only way to get first edition Optimus Prime or voyager first edition Bulkhead if you missed out on the initial TRU in store releases that came out first and was the ONLY place it was available at that time in the world.
After watching this video, I’ve noticed a few returning parts from the original mold. This is based off of, but quite a few new ones which somewhere carried over into the studio series movie Optimus prime. Going back to old engineering ideas not bad especially when executed well
Both the Generation 1 and Live-Action Movies started out with toys that were a little janky-looking compared to their cartoon adaptations, and only years down the line did they get more screen accurate figures in the Masterpiece Line. Transformers: Prime, on the other hand, somehow got Masterpiece-style figures as the *_first figures of the damn sub-franchise._* Like genuinely, we likely won't ever get Masterpiece style TFP figures cuz these are already _that good._ And every subsequent Prime toyline just hasn't met the quality of First Edition.
APC is also doing an original Airachnid that is seemingly based off a fan-made custom figure. I'm up for more "First Edition" renditions of TFP bots since HasTak probably will never give us proper updates for the next 5 or 10 years and the 3P market in general is just swamped with G1.
Great marketing lol, I didn't really know too much about the APC line (Really only see 3rd party MP figures) and this size and price point fit with my collection. Done made a whole Show Z Store account to grab before they sell out like you said. Now to find the APC Megatron...
...at least they did the *Voyager* version of FE Optimus; remember that there was also a Deluxe that was part of a two-pack with Megatron (the only Voyager was the RiD aka "Powerizer" Megatron...no idea why neither Hasbro nor Takara ever did a FE of Megs as a Voyager).
💯💯💯💯i love Transforners Prime and this figure! That show was the best blend of the bayverse, G1 and the comics... It's definitely missed. Hopefully APC toys will re-release the dark master because i missed his first run and finally get on top of making Bulkhead, which I'm dying in anticipation for!

I got one coming along with APC Angel Engine Comic ver as well. All the reviews I seen look great, just minor joints tollarence and paint chipping with Angel Engine. Looking forward to having them in the collection. Now APC need to do Bulkhead, bee, Cliffjumper, Wheel Jack and Ratchet.

The best solution for that is Future Shine floor polish. You’ll notice the difference. 😊

Many pointed out at the time that the studio series movie prime took inspiration from this mold.
That’s because SS Bayverse Prime used engineering from this designs First Edition figure.

Will forever appreciate TFP FE Optimus. TF Prime got me back into collecting transformers after growing up during RID and the Unicron Trilogy.

Just purchased this figure recently and I love the Takara colours. Had no regrets buying this amazing figure.

We did see the star waver actually. It was a clear green version that came with the beast hunters Optimus prime voyager

The star saber's handlenis actually reversed. The shorter blade is suppose to be on the front so there is not much acuracy in that department.
Hasbro did release a version of the Star Saber during Beast Hunters, it was cast in clear green plastic

I feel like there is joints on the elbow which you rotate and make it accurate more when you use him for shooting
