Informative video, my car wind screen had similar size nick. It had happened 11 months back, i had not repaired it till now , the good thing is that it had not increased in size. After seeing this video , i will use this same repair kit to repair it. Thanks for sharing...🙂

Hey bro. Love the content of your channel. I used the same kit from the video. Things I did differently. 1. I used isopropyl alcohol to clean the area as it dries out faster leaving nothing behind. 2. I created a third slit to the syringe plunger so that when pressed down you get more pressure which will guide the resin deeper into the cracks. 3. Also gently tap the glass from both sides. Gently press down the glass from outside/ press up from inside, giving the resin more chance to penetrate. This gave better results.
Thanks for the Inputs. I later on researched a little The cracks can be of different type so its not a sure shot solution. Depending on the depth and type of damage, In some case it works in some cases it don't... good it worked for you...Thanks for watching

Hi got hit by a fairly big stone from the wheels of a truck and within a day it has developed into a fairly large crack , but u please tell me your experience of changing your windshield front glass as I am little apprehensive of the procedure of changing the glass

Exact same situation. Exact same thought process. Exact same product ordered. Unfortunately saw your video after I ordered it. Will let you know how it goes. I realise you eventually replaced the windshield after another incident.
Yup I replaced my windshield. It got cracked on our trip to Spiti
@@ABVentures I tried it today and was absolutely blown away by the results I got!!! I would say 99% results. Actually it's 100%, exactly as shown in the picture. I need to go really close and observe carefully to find a small scratch like thing. While driving it's crystal clear.
The product works. I think there are a few points.
1. 5-6 drops of resin as suggested on the product may not be enough. It needs to be filled with resin. After adding a few drops it will create a bubble and give the appearance that it's full. But I looked from inside and could see no resin on the crack. So I kept breaking the bubble on top of the entry hole and kept pouring more resin till I could see it going into the cracks when observed from inside the car
2. As another person had commented on your video, I created an additional notch in the syringe to create more pressure.
I followed the instructions on chirs fix video (second one) diligently. Understanding the principle behind how this works is key. Sometimes, few things can go wrong despite following the instructions exactly. So we must observe the progress closely in each step.

@@ABVentures oh yeah, absolutely. I am thrilled. For the past one week I was going nuts each time I saw the crack. To make things worse, my service advisor said replacing the windshield is the only option. My car is a 3 year old ertiga. Insurance would have covered it in my case, but I didn't want to replace that for many other reasons as you mentioned in your video.
I literally had no hope that it would work.

Ashish...Bro,I don't know if that would have helped,but tapping the WindScreen Area from inside and outside around the Curing part while the Pressure was applied with the Syring would have allowed the Resin to sneak it through a bit more....I Guess.
I think...you should have watched ChrisFix Video on it before trying to Cure your Windscreen.

I tried it twice and results are same as you.
It's more than a year. No further cracks developed

Hii Please do the ground clearance test with you scorpio n.
There was a small mistake which after removing the sticker u need to remove the layer from blade and after that again u should put that drops without removing that layer if u put directly then were is the gap for that drops to go inside after applying film u should not give presure on it

Bhai Real life is a bit different from what's shown on TH-cam. There is no assurance that this will work for all. It depends on lot of factors like the type and size of mark, depth of impact, quality of product etc. Yes I saw CF's video and that's one of the reason I gambled 800 bucks. But it didn't worked for me.😕 anyway thanks for input
Same technique apply in opposite side
One chip and whole wind shield gets cloudy in a few months. My crack lasted around 6 months then due to glares and cloudiness i preferred to change it.

Replaced it now. This nick didn't expanded but unfortunately got another on my trip to Spiti Valley which turned into a crack. So had to replace

Several years ago my insurance company paid a professional to come to my house and do this type of repair which held ok but the spot was in my line of sight so I just had the windshield replace,
Yup as expected it was a gamble. If it works, it works otherwise no option but to replace it. Luckily mine is not in direct line of sight so hoping for a longer replacement time...let's see. Thanks
