Dont worry , next time don't stick it on wind shield directly Keep it transparent card size folder and stick that on screen .
It will work and fastag is safe you can easily put it or remove

I’ve a better solution for FasTag usage. Just go to any numberplate maker nearby and make a small acrylic transparent plate, just the size of FasTag and stick the FasTag on it and place it anywhere in your vehicle even in your glovebox, amt will be charged as it has radio frequency. When not to use, means you don’t want to pay toll to your nearest toll, just wrap the FasTag in foil paper, you will be not charged toll.

U r wrong, U can give heat frm other side & then use blade or something & then take it out slowly in portion. I hvn't done it personally but the mechanic who changed my windshield when my windshield got broke did this in perfect way
