Loved the video :) btw I am planning to visits Kashmir at the end if January for skiing. Do you think if I go (without a prior booking for training) would be cheaper? I can just hire somebody once I am there right? The packages online usuallly cost 35k+

No
You don't need certificate but you need proper skills, so that you can sking from phase 1 or chairlift, which is situated at half of the mountain, by your self,
