- Water skiing is one of the most underrated and lesser known adventure sports in India. I too had no idea that skiing on water was actually a thing, till I heard of the 10 Day Basic Water Skiing Course offered by Indian Institute of Skiing & Mountaineering (IISM), Kashmir.

Water skiing may look easy but it sure has a learning curve to it; but it's packed with thrill and adventure nonetheless. I had the time of my life skiing over the crystal clear waters of Manasbal Lake near Srinagar. I made lots of new friends too, as always, and I can't wait to go back and do the Intermediate Course. Sharing my experience through this video. It's surely not something to be missed if you are an adrenaline junkie like me. An informative video about how to apply for this course, the month in which it's conducted, what to carry etc. will be up soon.

Hi, thank you! They open around May June and the course is conducted in June/July. You can check their website around that time, the details will be up.
