Just a few days left to get merch and help Cleetus with his bill. 5 percent of every order goes to paying for his bill and that monster in the box 🥵. Cjracecars.com
im poor, cleeterous will have to pay for his own stuff. or sell more hair goop!! LOL
Received my shirt a few days ago, love it! 🙂
Hemi bros gonna be kicking ass
💪🏻
Cleetus has been laying down the hints and clues heavy for weeks. lol
The question is, will the Hemi be Procharged or Turbocharged? I'm guessing turbski's, Garrett seems to like them.
@@2873lonewolfhe’s literally said it’s going to be turbos from the start.
@@2873lonewolf The intake that is on it is for a twin turbo setup. I personally think procharger would have been the way to go with a proline hemi as you dont have to sit there and spool em, worry about charging the tune with boost curves, cutoffs etc... But,.its not my 80k+ engine or car lol. I hope he goes Fuel tech over holly but I believe he has them as a sponsor.
Literally just finished watching the engine being assembled on Cletus’s channel.
It’s a nice piece 😎
@@CJRaceCars Nice ?? Just Nice?? It's beautiful... lol
Man the engine is going to rip in that car.
Every once of power is going to the ground and what you have planned for suspension.
I can’t wait to see it fire and then take its first drag rip.
Cleetus is going to up his maintenance game with that power. 🤪
@@CJRaceCars except for where proline scratched the intake.
@@CJRaceCars it's an expensive piece of Furniture!!! lol
Troys "simple tin" under the car is a work of art, dude is amazing at his trade
Most probably don't know this but this isn't Troy's first rodeo with Cleet. Troy helped build Mullet, well the initial rendition of it anyways.
This channel has become one of my favorites.
Let’s go 💪🏻
Same here
I also love the fact they aren't just popping rivets everywhere in this car, they are building this car with true craftsmanship and hard hand crafted beautiful work! These guys are unbelievable the attention and effort they put in to every inch of the detail, even in parts you will never even see. That's work to be proud of, that's old school if your name is on it you make every inch as perfect as you can. I love that mentality and to many people have lost that mentality!
Cleetus showed us already! Rip that thing out of the box!!
We recorded this prior lol. We will take it out next week and get some footage of that monster going in 😎
and? this mans trying to make his own content! who cares if cleetus has shown it already!
@@ivanmullet12 calm down bud.
@@ryanwdonahue so every Tom dick and harry can have there say but I can’t say anything? Righto bud
@@CJRaceCars Haha I figured. Just anxious to see it in the car! It's coming together quick though! I used to work in a shop that did some pretty "high end" builds, but this is another level! Keep it up!
😂 “It allows a lot more room for activities in the rear end”. 😂
Glad I'm not the only one 😆
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Did we just become best friends??
Lol. I literally just commented on this.
And the award for “Most Improved Channel” goes to…CJRC! I tried to follow this channel when you were building Swanstrom’s car and Monza’s car. But man you guys have really stepped up your game lately. Love the work you all put into this build and now the great quality videos. Keep it up please.
I'm retired from being a mechanic, working in a shop all my life. I enjoy the bantering thats going on in the video. It reminds me of all nonsensical conversations we had daily. I honestly miss being in a shop every day. I don't miss the BS, that's for certain.
That little step detail on the rear wing was money 👌🏼👌🏼
Pretty cool little deal.
@CJRaceCars it's the little things that you can't see when it's built that make it such a top notch build and would go unappreciated if we didn't have this build series ❤.
Just commenting to help the algorithm. Y'alls craftsmanship deserves more views, plus the camera work and 4K uploads look fantastic
CJ, it is a real joy watching your videos. What I like most is the lack of BS / clickbait content; just pure professionalism.
I'd like to know more about how you got to where you are; it's clear that you know what you're doing, and have also learned at an early stage that much of the secret to success is to surround yourself with hard working, professional people as well.
It's absolutely no surprise to me that your channel is growing so quickly, given the high quality content...good on you, and I'm looking forward to seeing how big your channel gets!
Keep up the great work, and I'll keep watching.
All the best,
Jon
Cooper should get Cam on his podcast.
just think Ty worked at CJRC before he went to work for Cleetus.
@@afishcalledminnewawahe’s been on it fella
@@afishcalledminnewawawould be cool to have another ep with him though
@@mulltothree4375 is this where Ty came from? Makes sense considering his amazing fab skills and knowledge of suspension geometry, etc.
It's crazy how fast this thing is coming together. While being top notch quality at the same time.
probably because its been months in the works behind the scenes?
@@Nebbia_affaraccimieiprobably because Cleetus saw CJRC was already building a ‘69 Camaro for themselves prior…
@@ChrisWashburn. Cleetus has always loved 69 Camaros from Tom balley
@ChrisWashburn they have multiple 69's. This is ain't the first one nor will it be the last
If you're that interested, they have one for sale for 160k
It would come together quicker if they would actually do some work and less dribble. I am here to see a build, not listen to every little detail on how it goes together. They are doing a great job though. I also wonder what the owners of the other cars have to say about the progression on their cars.
Prayers for the mussi family, with the loss of Lizzy mussi passed away the other night arounf 11:30 or so fro breast C ,prayer for pat and mom the back up mom, thanks BigAl.
😢
I knew you were waiting for him to reveal his engine first.( which he has) I can't wait to see it in the car.
@@CanadianArchaeologist CJRC said they recorded it the day before he revealed the hemi, kinda too bad the videos didn’t line up, but oh well thing is gonna be a MONSTER regardless
Am I the only one that is not surprised it's plr? There's only a handful of people that build motors this caliber so it wasn't that hard to narrow it down.
Can't wait .. super fast..fly like an 🦅LLL
This channel is definitely going to grow. Glad Cleetus brought us here. The camera man, Cameron, Danny and Troy are great characters to build on, the talent just takes it to a whole other level.
lol this channel will die once this car is finished mark my words, it might not be immediate but it'll happen pretty quick
@@Hard_Right it'll slow down, I have no doubt about that. I don't think it'll die though, these guys have a good recipe for a successful channel; fascinating work, great talent, hilarious banter, good filming and editing. All of which are only getting better.
Man, Troy's fabrication is just top notch. Lovely to see a true old skool craftsman at work. Oh, and liking the shop photos on the website...
Man, hopefully your subs go up even more. You have one hell of a quality, detailed channel with an amazing team that appears to love what they do.
I can't believe I've never discovered you prior to cleetus.
I cant believe it took Ole cleeter for me to find this channel. Haven't missed an episode since the start of eagle. This car is gonna win alot of events.
I really liked the small pack of Skittles that was shipped with my American Made shirt. Nice touch and the invoice had thank you wrote on it. The Hemi that's going in Eagle is 2nd to none.
Skittles? Seriously? That pushed me over the edge, im ordering a shirt now.
I just got 2 shirts today in the mail that I ordered here in Canada and I just read your comment. I didn't open the package up until now and low and behold I got some Skittles too! 🤘😎
@@Crazeejay Now thats service 💯
‘Jewellery for men’ I like that!
Cleetus steered me here but you shifted into one of my favorite channels. The quality of work from your crew is on an completely different level then anything else I have seen online. I can only compare you to Mike Patey's work in the aviation world but he hasn't posted much lately. Thank you for your dedication and for sharing your incredible skills with the world. Keep up the awesome work...I can't believe you haven't hit the 100k mark yet but it won't be long now. I'm looking forward to receiving my "American Made" t-shirt and will wear it proudly.
A buddy of mine's dad has a PLR Hemi in his 78 LeSabre. Those are the real deal! Eagle is gonna scream!
I love it every time Troy throws out the “more room for activities” line from Step Brothers. 😅
Never considered how much of these drag cars are just pure artistry. Makes you wonder how they build the rocket ships and stealth bombers 😂
I would like to thank this content creator. Genuinely and with all seriousness.
THANK YOU!!! For being probably the only automotive TH-cam channel that doesn't feel it necessary to play horrendous music over the top of your videos. I don't know where the trend came from but I wish it would stop. But thank you again for not taking part in it
Thank you for the viewing the content!
@@Andrew_AWMEDIA no sir, thank you for creating it.
I’m from Australia and this content is above top notch….!
I'm a mechanic, so I appreciate that you guys make it so accessible to work on 😊 I love the great work all your crew does every time we see you 👏 👍 God bless always 🙏
If the van’s a rockin, don’t come a knockin!
dope, one step closer to eagle lining up with prenup
Now the next question is:
Does he make you run to the 1/4
Or do you Make him run 1/8
Can’t wait for this👆🏻 want to see it lineup next to your newer car. Two First Gens, kinda wondering how well the turbos are gonna do against the blower cars.💯 Seems like a lot of peeps have went away from the turbo and the pro-charged applications to a roots style blower…. either way, gonna be some great ricin🤙🏻💯
Why would he line it up with your car he’s not doing npk
@@loganb5657...... Neither is prenup. It's a radial car now. Justin, change the gear and run the 1/4. Come on, you can do it lol. Bring your cars to world cup 🤷♂️ that's a no brainer imo
You know he ain't scared, may wanna hit the mx track after..
Broooo this thing is gonna be rippin in literally no time. You guys have been killing it!
The technical knowledge and application are truly something to admire on this channel. From fit, finish to function. This will be a level of speed and precision that will shock Cleetus and the like. Great job!
Love your pro quality videos. The person behind the camera does an amazing job with the questions and all. Thank you for sharing!
Guys! Intro music and video was spot on! Then boom into the monologue with music underneath at the right volume.
The bead rolling is so satisfying to watch
Thank you all for what you do and especially Troy, u are a great fab man.
The wing design (and explanation) is awesome.
And that panel work is👌. Every time you show panel bending I feel like I want to go bend some panels. I imagine it’s very rewarding work (when you get it right). 🙂
Trust the process.
Spoken like a true artist.
37:01 having a dedicated person filming has made this channel soooooo much better, catching all the funny moments about the candy and cookies made me laugh soooo very hard.
Whoever you have doing your videos (I have a sneaking suspicion you hired a young aspiring filmmaker), is doing an incredible job. Your videos remind me of the Nat Geo version of mechanics. It’s interesting. The work you guys do is top notch.
Hahaha the shop banter is bloody gold 😂. Loving the content guys and enjoying seeing the progress the car is making
We are watching a master piece in engineering. Amazing work and craftsmanship.
I am truly in awe of the level of precision that is done here. You have some great craftsmen. The attention to detail is awesome to watch.
Thank you, guys, for showing us the inside scoop of a professionals point of view. This series is awesome. Your videography is much appreciated. I wish we could go back in time to doccument the older generations and how they did everything. Knowledge is priceless. Certain things are lost to time, but we can do better moving forward.
This has become my favorite channel to watch and I’m always waiting for that upload to come. You guys are killing it and the work is absolutely incredible
Such nice fab work in all aspects, there are few that take a build to this level.
I'm loving your guys channel!! I wish I could have all of Troy's talent!! He is a great part of the channel! Awesome video guys!
This channel got so informative and entertaining so quick I find myself checking every couple of hours for new uploads.
Let’s go 💪🏻
Let her rip tater chip!! Our boy Cletus is going to be flying. I can't wait to see him testing at his favorite track Bradenton!! On a sad note.
RIP LIZZY MUSI 😢
Did Cleetus ship it with turbos? Damn I can’t wait yall. This big block can handle 80 lbs of boost and rev to 10,000 rpm, freaking nuts. No water jackets!………
I bet Cleetus tweaks a rod first.
This thing is going to be insane.
Noice guys, good to see Danny back at it. Good episode with Troy, was cool to get a bunch of his wisdom and insights. CJ with the sour dough and skittles, I can relate haha
You guys are doing some great work. Glad to be a part of this channel.
Called it based on the bell housing.
That and cleetus hasn’t made it to where he is my being stupid and it would take a moron to do anything but a hemi in this caliber of car and proline is the best of the best when it comes to hemis
17 seconds in and already having a better day
This level of craftsmanship reminds me of when I worked at the Jegs shop in the mid 80’s, back when we made rear frame rails out of 2X3 box rails
Quality stuff here guys. Can’t wait to see her all done. As a welder fabricator myself at one point in my life I understand the hours that goes into this. Next level guys !!!!
Okay seriously CJ, how do you have videos as high quality, maybe even better than, old Spike TV car shows with not even 90k subs yet as I write this post. I like Garret/Cletus and his videos but overall yours are higher quality than even his. I hope your other clients let you make videos like this of future vehicles because I think many of us will stick around if you do.
We have tons of stuff in the works for this channel 😎
Hey man, I’m all for a good compliment. It makes people feel good and reassure them they’re doing good work. And you are correct, these videos are very high quality. WITH THAT SAID… Cleetus has been making videos for YEARS and YEARS. They have a much larger production. I hope to see CJ Race Cars continue to build, because they make badass content. The cars they build are out of this world. The detail they go into is absolutely insane! And… all the personalities are perfect. Seem like truly great dudes. Thanks for everything you guys have done to make these videos so good 🤙🏻🙏🏻
Why are you comparing Apples to Oranges?
Because cleetus usually uses an iphone to film. Like it was said though... apples to oranges.
CJRC RULES HELL YEAH BROTHER
Guys just an awesome job all around. Great craftsmanship. Great guys. Quality job filming and walking us through the build. I’ll keep watching long after you’ve finished Cleetus’s car for the first time (it will be back!). Keep it up Cameron and team!
I was just going to comment for the algorithm. Then wanted to add I appreciate that there is no silly music and time lapse sections. The quality fills the video from beginning to end.
I was pulling for a PLR engine. Just figured he'd settle for the weaker (3500+hp) 381x. No Our boy went big and got himself a big ole (5000hp) HEMI!!!!
a hemi that he's likely gonna get rid of in the future because it's an IHRA pro-stock level motor being given to an insane floridian who has a very big knack for blowing up motors by not maintaining them and looking after them correctly
“The wing hit the wall 3 seconds before I did”. 😂
#HEMIBROS. 💪🏽💪🏽
I love that banter in the shop. Please keep that in the videos.
"So much room for activities!"😂😂😂
Thanks for the efforts!
You guys are the shit! The production value has gone up so much and the rest of the crew are getting so comfortable in front of the camera. Keep up the great work!
“Once the engine is here, things will really start moving along fast”
Bro, you’ve built a masterpiece already in just over a month!
The experience between all your workers is absolutely incredible!!
HEMI BROTHERS!!! Eagle is going to be one bad unit! Can't wait to see the finished product.
💪🏻
Engine or no engine content is great gentlemen thank you
Give the bloke behind the Camera a pay rise. He's doing a wonderful job capturing the process while getting the most out of the fabrication masters on tape and producing these wonderful videos. I came here for the Cletus build and now can't wait to see the shop build. well Done CJ race cars
Just want to say, The Proline Hemi doesn't exist without AJPE. I just want to give a HUGE SHOUTOUT to Alan Johnson, and his late brother Blaine, ( RIP ) who has pioneered TFX for the past few decades! They are located out here in central California out in the farm fields of Santa Maria. Most Top Fuel teams use AJPE products because of the reliability and performance. As long as Cleetus follows a strict maintenance program, this engine will never fail.
I can’t wait to see her set up in the car it’s looking so beautiful I can’t wait. And I’m so excited for your guys project car🔥
Saw Swanstrom below, reminds me, everyone say a prayer or whatever you do in private for Pat Musi and family, Rest in Peace Lizzie. So sad. 😢

Wow! That's heart breaking to hear! 1 year of battling and she is gone! So, so sad! F cancer!
By now most of us have seen Cleetus's engine video , and it looks awesome. I must say the video work is equal to the skills of your team , very well done. Looking forward to the next chapter of this fantastic build series.
Big progress coming soon.

I knew about you when you built Justin’s car but never knew you had a TH-cam channel. Definitely enjoy watching the channel. You guys go into amazing detail as to why you do this or build the car like that instead of just throwing everything in time lapse. Definitely wish I would have known about the channel sooner! Killer job
Your guys are awesome! We know what we are doing, give us the Freedom, and let us do our job!
This car is going to be ridiculousssssssssssssssss. My god that engine will be 5000 + HP ..... I reckon serious power. Very serious power. Can't wait to see it . Will it be 8th mile or quarter mile? I'm not sure how it works properly cos I'm across the pond in the not so great Britain 😕. Stay safe people
Cleetus runs 1/4 mile and the Proline Hemi is around 5,000; that is similar to other high-end billet engines now. The Steve Morris SMX twin turbo, like Cleetus had in Mullet puts out around 4,500 on the hub dyno. Alan Whitaker has an SMX in his 4,000lb drag and drive car and runs mid 6 sec 1/4s. Who would've thought 30-40 yrs ago engines would even come close to those power levels. Back then we thought we were hot stuff if our streetcars put out 400 horses. Crazy!
Cleetus said he's running quarters!
@daboss117fly Thanks @daboss that's gonna be haulin
@irahubscherjr6629 so true Thanks for that
Hell yeah
What a great working environment man good job I work in a shop so I notice the interactions between all of you guys and it’s a real positive healthy work environment and that allows these guys and their creativity to really shine and it also allows you to get the best product possible so good job for treating your guys right!!

looking forward to see that wing and deck lid setup Troy's talking about, sounds awesome.
I figured out the hemi part during the car challenge, when they got the Chrysler 300 , and put on those mopar hats I knew they were going to get a hemi.
I guarantee they also run roadkill nights now as well.
Proline for the win , watch out George was dropping rods and pistons 😂
Funny moment that, but it was 100% a bit with an aalready-worn out piston/rod. No chance they would use a $400 rod/piston combo for a 2-second joke.
In George's defense, it was just a piston. The rod never left his hand. Lol 😂
It’s a piece of artwork. I could sit it in my living room and just stare at it!
thanks for sharing gentleman
Pro Line Racing Hemi for the WIN!
Hemi gonna look nice in there, can’t wait to see Eagle and Seagull do a side by side 1/4 mile🔥
