Thank for the video! Great job! Yep-Harley dealerships are hit and miss. That’s why you have to find a good independent mechanic shops. It even helps to find 2 or 3 good independent shops in case one is backed up with customers or they’re closed.
I live around the corner from Petersons. Went for service once and never again. I’m sure those mechanics put more love and care into their own bikes. Needless to say I found an independent mechanic that specializes in HD. Reasonable & respectful.
@Just G Kue You should've went to Alligator Alley Harley Davidson in Sunrise, Fl. Its about 30 mins from Petersons and they treat you like family right off rip.

1.Service your bike religiously! 2. Learn to work on your bike 3. Keep rain gear/heated gear on bike 4. Snacks lol 5. Keep essentials on bike (tools, jumpbox, tire plug kit, air compressor etc. 6. Make sure AAA is paid up. 7. Ride!

Usually a diode set or a voltage regulator that craps out.... More than likely a broken electrical connection to your Voltage Regulator that came uncrimped or broken.

I've been to that dealer in north Miami several times but have not needed any service. Oh, in Key West, did you guys try the KEY LIME PIE ?!

Thats what helps us get to know each other and figure out the correct fitment. Whether it be with yall or not, or what position if any 1 might obtain. I know there are dues and requirements involved which is also part of yall being 1of imo top clubs out here. Yall aren't repping 1% either so thats a plus. The stator is basically the same as an alternator for a car. Since many things run off electrical the stuff won't work if stator is beat. Thats a job to do too
Never go to Peterson's Harley Davidson when you come to south florida. You gotta go to Alligator Alley Harley Davidson in neighboring Broward County. They will take care of your bike. I never had an issue with them.
Man I feel you, I road my bike from south Cali to key west fl. During Daytona bike week, started having problems coming back from the keys, no light and gage was at 14, it was a late night so spend the night close to that Miami dealer Paterson, with my luck.. they did not have any battery’s so was forced to buy there 300.00 lithium battery, after every thing ck out fine, I broke down, at west palm beach, 3 miles from west palm beach Harley, waited over 8 hrs for for AAA to show up, they never showed up, after calling every hr.. I ended up zip tie my jump pack to my floor board and leaving it at dealer during closing hrs… during that time there no hotels near buy and no car rentals sold out, I was so close to having my bike towed back home for 1800.00 or buy a new bike for 35k.. with all that stress I decided that no matter what the bike had to get fixed, a buddy of mine talk some sense to me, and gave me the best suggestion, bought a flight ticket back home and came back and finish my trip… now I can laugh of that Experience..
With all due respect, this is why I’d never buy a Harley . They have the name , the history the mystic but in reality they breakdown too much. I’m a goldwing guy or I’d get a Japanese cruiser like a Vulcan voyager 1700 or something before I’d buy a Harley. Great video though. Keep putting down the miles!🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

I ride solo as I’m not in a club so my spidy senses are on 100 💯 when I’m riding because these 4 wheelers down here drive at reckless speeds, tail gate motorcycles , jump into your lane without even looking , it’s just crazy . Just moved down here from Ohio ( year round riding weather being one of my reasons for relocating) but they drive way worse here than in Ohio and the FHP don’t do ish…. I’ve seen 4 wheelers fly by them doing excess of 20 mph over the speed limit with no pursuit given. In Ohio the state troopers don’t play that. I was just wondering your perspective on riding in a group with more eyes on the road.

don't know why but I see that everyone has the handlebars instead of in line or in front of the fork , it all seems so unnatural , an ape that is in line with the fork legs or more forward is good , here more to the rider is a no go
Everyone has their own preference...but for most of us its a comfort thing. We ride really long hours and the way we position ourselves with the bars we use (pullbacks) allows us the utilize the backrests and get really comfortable. 😊💪🏾💪🏾
Petersons HarleyDavidson Is my local dealer service sucks, there only interested with trying to get you to buy a new HD, I took 1 bike there took 7 days for a oil change, there shop in the south has better service…
My VP was having problems with his HD on our back from a east to west coast run, and 3 HD dealers, 3 different states said that can't anything wrong....SMH. I think some of these white boys don't want to work on our bikes "Black HD Owners". Holla to the RARE BREED MC.
@@Zerotys_ADV that has been my case majority of the time but this time, for them to have my and my buddies bike the entire day they should have properly tested the bikes. Which they did not. Their sister dealership got me together asap.🙌🙌🙌
Both Peterson Harley’s in Miami are absolutely garbage. If you’re in south Florida and need to go to Harley make it to alligator alley Harley and they will take care of you.

Well when you ride em a lot and ride em hard they will eventually wear down.
49k miles in 2 years and the stator is this only thing i had to change.

don't know why but I see that everyone has the handlebars instead of in line or in front of the fork , it all seems so unnatural , an ape that is in line with the fork legs or more forward is good , here more to the rider is a no go
Everyone has their own preference...but for most of us its a comfort thing. We ride really long hours and the way we position ourselves with the bars we use (pullbacks) allows us the utilize the backrests and get really comfortable. 😊💪🏾💪🏾

I'd say do what makes you happy. My bike has a lot of miles on it and eventually things will start to need replacement.

My VP was having problems with his HD on our back from a east to west coast run, and 3 HD dealers, 3 different states said that can't anything wrong....SMH. I think some of these white boys don't want to work on our bikes "Black HD Owners". Holla to the RARE BREED MC.

Not true! I’ve crossed this country a few times, and every time I’ve had issues dealerships have been more than willing to get me back on the road.
@@Zerotys_ADV that has been my case majority of the time but this time, for them to have my and my buddies bike the entire day they should have properly tested the bikes. Which they did not. Their sister dealership got me together asap.🙌🙌🙌
