- Its finally time to start unleashing the power of the FA24F by installing a Cobb Accessport. WARNING & If this is the cause of an engine problem in the future then your warranty is void so modify at your own risk

Cobb Accessport: Check your Cobb retailer for the right version - I got mine cheap from someone selling their VB.

Nice vid, thanks for info. Just wondering is throttle response improved compared to stock, and does it rev out faster than stock or can't really tell? Fellow oz here thinking about just adding this and a catback just for a little more fun. Cheers
When switched to the cobb OTS tune my care HATED it feedback knock was trash my DAM would be all over the place. I finally switched to the DMANN tune and it has been so beautiful since then.
I had something similar depending on my driving style, but found a style that minimises it though. Aparently the knock sensors on the VB are very sensitive. I've already changed to another tune and have noticed that everything is more stable too
@@VBWRXY what time are you running now? Also, do you have other mods?
Just finished installing and filming an intake video. As part of this mod Ive got an Upspec Garage Stage 1 intake tune. I think the knock sensitivity has been changed as I haven't seen as much and my DAM has been solid.
@VBWRXY that's great bro. Hope you enjoy stay safe!
@@VBWRXY Dan from Upspec is a good tuner. I'm currently waiting for Cobb to release the 2024 support then I will be getting the Accessport and hitting up Dan.😉
Great content. Keep them coming young man.
Hi mate, just picking up my vb wrx tomorrow (Sydney). I was thinking of going to pulse racing for a pro tune soon after run in. Who would you recommend?
In the Sydney area id be looking at Upspec Performance for the VB. Dan Um has been working with the VB since day 1 and has a range of packages to choose from. For other after market work try DC Jap and Street Element/Dmaker - both have workshops that can install parts for you.
AU WRX VIDEOS 🤘🤘🤘
Really appreciate the support! Tanner and yourself were a huge inspiration behind me starting this channel and my build.
Love your channel and keep up the amazing work you do for the VB community!
Keep the vids coming!
I see you got engine light on why is that
Not CEL - it's the Low Type Pressure as I haven't swapped over the TPMS from the original wheels.
How does it feel compared to stock tune ?
Boost is obviously a little higher and comes on pretty well. General driveability isn't compromised though. The OTS tune isn't designed for huge increases, just better torque and power curves.
@@VBWRXYin that case just keep it stock. Why void the warranty for such little gains. Subarus tuned it running rich for a reason. That’s already their safe side. Tuning just means overworking your motor, injectors and such. Improper upgrades blows motors my dude.
This is just the first step of many for tubing. It is running a Cobb OTS tune which they've done extensive testing on so as to not stress the motor, and is not an improper mod by any stretch. Having the Cobb AP will allow me to tune with custom etunes later on, to allow the use of better intakes, more efficient Intercoolers and exhaust setups.
Additionally there are VBs out there pushing much more power than this with no issues.
The known failure point currently is the transmission more than the engine.
it doesn't void the warranty... they legally have to prove what ever modifications you did to the car caused a serious malfunction if you need warranty work done.. You've been lied to. there is a supreme court case that was already decided in favor of the owner of a modified car.
Exactly. Bizarre how many millions of people can’t get this simple, grade-school concept.
You guys must be in the US, He is in OZ that law don't mean nothing here sadly.
I saw the original comment, and had the same thought so i never replied. Dont hear much from our Supreme Court, let alone anything to do with Cars. I feel like we should have to prove that the modification is the source or contributed to a fault, but ive never come across it. Just easier to think you are out of warranty regardless.
If you alter the ecu in any way, it voids your warranty. I'm friends with my Subaru dealer mechanic. He said they make him check every car that is in for warranty work, especially WRX. He admits they had to flag my VB. I live in the States.
@@tomrakusan1179bizarre that you think everybody lives in the USA.
