Thank you, Vicky! I always love your art journals. I especially love that you used a stamped and colored image in this design, instead of using only items from ephemera packs and paper pads. To me, stamps give an extra opportunity for creativity. Again, thanks for the inspiration!

Appreciate the colouring techniques you share such as being able to smudge marker pens when they are used over a medium. Great tip. All elements tie in superbly. Thank you Vicky. x
Not all markers do that though… this technique does not work with alcohol markers for example as they dry instantly.

Thank you so much! … everything is fun until I have to do the video editing and voice over… it is time consuming and takes longer that actually making the project 😂😂 If it wasn’t for this step I would have posted art journals daily 😂

@Vicky Papaioannou • Vicky: This was chock full of tips. I love the simplicity of your advice on the background, 2 close colors plus ivory/neutral.
Starting the background without worrying about where the focal elements will be placed also simplifies the creative process.
Sealing the stamped image so you can use markers is another great technique to try.
You have a lot going on here but it all comes together for a beautiful composition. Thanks for sharing your creative vision and expertise with us. 👍

hmm not sure what you mean by warping... never had such an issue
@@vickypWarping is when an item will no longer lay flat, where it bends out of its original shape.
@@OjibwayDreams oh yes I know what warping is, I can understand warping on paper when you apply water or wet paint or sprays but on plastic stencils this never happens. I never had issues with stencils warping , that is what I was trying to say. Sorry if I wasn’t clear.

Hi Vicky, I have been following your channel for some time, but unfortunately my memory stinks lately..
I have an issue with markers and paints bleeding through, can you recommend a brand of book with good GSM? ❤❤❤
Markers usually bleed… especially the alcohol ones. I work on my own art journals lately, that I designed in collaboration with stamperia. They are thick and hold paint with no bleeding. But alcohol markers are always an issue. Links to the book I use are in the description
