Not of as yet as I’ve just recently purchased the 550sx. Videos will be uploaded later this year as the motor requires rebuilding but is a immaculate ski for its age. Thanks Miguel
2k paint also known as 2 Pack paint is paint with hardener in it. It’s more resistant to damage making it a good paint to used on jetskis. Every automotive paint store will have there own brands of paint and it’s two parts that you mix together.
@@TJResto okay I am in the middle of painting my ski right now, yours looks immaculate and I am very jealous! I got a quote for a quart for 300? Does that seem right? Would it take more than a quart?
Thanks I had mine professionally painted so I’m not sure how much paint they used. I would think a quart would be enough. I have no idea on the cost. I did paint the engine bay and under the hood myself with etch primer and 2 cans of 2k spray paint. It was around 100 dollars I think from memory
Hey, what would you like to see? The x2 has been out twice on the water but i ran into a couple of problems with it. So I may do a update video where I’m at. I don’t have any videos as I was more interested in fixing the issues. I do hope to have it back on the water in spring when the weather is warmer
An absolute beautiful ski. Well done on ever aspect.
Beautiful X2! You did a great job getting that old beast back to brand new stock condition. In the middle of my own rebuild. Again, job well done!
That's one clean ski. Need to bump that 28mm carb up to a SBN44.
Great work!
Cleanest build yet! Well done.
Nice man.
This thing is beautiful! Well done!
Any videos of the 550SX stand up ? Immaculate X2 by the way!

Just picked up a 91 X2 project today.
Bummed about not being ready to ride
Watched your video
Who needs sleep back to work on the x2s
Hey brother beautiful bike, can I know where you bought your bilge pump switch. Thank you.
Hello, I have x2 too, but yours is literally like zero. May God keep it safe
What paint did you use on the hull? And what powdercoat kit?
I brought a new already painted OEM fuel door cover and had 2k paint matched to the colour. Eastwoods powder coating kit and Prismatic’s powder
@@TJResto what do you mean 2k? Like thats the brand or the price haha

Do you have the tank hood cover of the x2? Mine is missing.
I purchased mine off eBay
Anyone on here from New England that can help me on my x2
Hey brother you know where I can get that bilge pump switch. And those valves you have in the bilge pump lines. Thank you.
Hey man the switch i got from AJSP, universal switch made by Hot Products and the valves are from BCF store here in Australia
Brother do you know where you go that hood hinge black rubber just right on top of the fuel door. That’s the last price I’m missing on my X2
Sorry it’s long discontinued. I had a NOS one that came with another X2 that I brought off a guy. Best bet probably is to keep a look out on eBay.
Any new videos soon?

I thought they stopped making X2’s in 1995?
That’s correct this is 1987
