Hey Etienne, i usually love your video but you made really hard work of this. Firstly, you should be using the Short/Long position tool (7th icon down on the left),.. to draw out your trade first so you can then visualise your trade and make adjustments, then on the ticket you simply enter the price you want to go in at, ..the tool shows the Stop and TP in pips which you simply enter into the Stop and TP section. Oh the other good thing about using the tool,.. it can saty on the chart so you can easily see a history of your previous trades.
wayne allen that is the reason i came here to learn how to use the trade box interface and what numbers to put in with regard to pips profit loss but its very difficult and complex to understand
This is why I love the comments section. Could you please elaborate more on what you just said. Could you please email me that info? My email is on my about youtube page
Great Video concept!!! your teaching gives me the understanding have been looking for a while.... is there any way I can reach for more coaching. Thanks so so much !!!!
Is there any concern about lag or data issues / discrepancies between the broker connection and tradingview? That is my only concern / question I have in regards to using TradingView to execute trades. Would appreciate any insight or feedback from current users that execute trades through TradingView!
Thank you. Can you tell me how to make more trades at the same time. For example if the market drops on a buy trade, I want to get a better Entry. Right now when doing so, by placing the second bet. It closes my first, resulting in a loss. Did I make my self understandable? Cheers
Are you in the US? If yes, you can’t do that because of FIFO (first in first out) regulations. If you’re outside the U.S., you can usually disable FIFO on your broker’s website.

Hey Etienne, Love your videos man, I use Oanda because of your videos. Was wondering if you can do a video on how to scale out of a trade when you're in profits?
@@DesireToTRADE Seem to be no option to split profit targets or set trailing stop losses. Functionality seems a bit limited. Or am I missing something?
You have to add the money on your broker’s website and then connect it to TradingView. If you don’t have a broker yet, I recommend Oanda for TradingView. If you use this link to open an account, you’ll be able to get rebates on your trades: d2t.link/oanda
@@gaurav5391 no, TradingView doesn't have access to the money you deposit in your broker. TradingView only allows you to place trades through your broker on their platform. The withdrawals and deposits must be made on the broker's website. That's why it's important to pick a good regulated broker.
You'd be taking a huge risk. What if an unexpected news comes and drives the price 400 pips against you? It could cost you a lot...just not worth it in my opinion.
Even with good intentions this video is not good for several reasons. The primary criticism I have is, just reading what we can see is not useful. For e.g., “this is the trade value here”. We can all see that, what is expected is to explain such a thing is. This same mistake is repeated throughout this video.
all this jacka$$ had to do was tell us how to place the damn trade🙄 I’m starting to think these youtubers think this type of sh!t is funny but I’m not laughing at all😐
Thank you, Etienne. This step was exactly what I was looking for in the learning process as to how to trade Forex. Highly appreciated.

You're probably on a lower timeframe. The entry on the chart is adjusted for the spread. When it gets to your entry you'll be breakeven on the spread.
Do you know how to change the leverage? It changes randomly. I have it set to 50 on my demo but sometimes to changes to 33 or 25
