I've been looking at getting into kayaking recently. Nice to see youtube reccomend a video with my city. I use to walk the green bridge at 4:35 every day. In the summer you'll see people paddleboarding. Bath has a canoe club too which i've been looking at.
As a male canoe/kayaker I'd recommend a wide necked bottle with a secure fitting lid for when you need to pee but can't get ashore. It's been used while wild camping during a thunderstorm too!
Another inspirational video,makes me feel so lucky to own a canoe and a kayak.Must get out more,it’s been many years since I was in bath,it a bit of a trek from Scotland!
Brilliant video, a bit of urban adventure. You should try a trip to Scotland if you like solitude mate......its vast and pretty empty. The scenery is stunning too. All the best

Great adventure and I like your layed back style. Be careful passing other boats coming towards you as you’re meant to keep to the right, not the left as you do in a car. It’s because most people are right handed and therefore are looking down their boat on the left side. If you’re being overtaken you keep to the left as they can clearly see you as they look out. Keep the videos coming 👍🏼

Excellent adventure hidden in plain sight and great shots of early morning Bath to yourself. And that swan was definitely checking you out under the bridge, was probably wondering if you had any weed growing along the waterline of your boat or maybe some bread to throw. Never feed the swans they don't forget and always tell thier mates.

I’m glad you did this video Bill, to show that it can be done, that you can cook a hot meal and go to sleep, without having to leave your canoe, to go set up a tent somewhere away from it? Maybe in the future, you could do canoe camping like this, over a couple of days or longer, like doing the length of the Thames or another river, from the source to it’s mouth?
Just came back from bath I have found a possible woodland spot there I’m gonna try camping soon just working out if bath or Dartmoor is my next camping video idea
It's been a couple of comments about the quality of the video. Try changing the resolution ive watched it back and My internet is rubbish where I am at the moment
People moan too much. It was perfectly fine. You could see plenty of detail in the banks/people watching etc. Wait for some more subs before you buy the expensive camera gear. They'll come.
A while back you posted you were in Bath on IG, was that the 1st 2nd or 3rd attempt? Really impressed with the insta360 go 2, some really nice shots leaving the bridge before the weir. Come to Devon, lots of roundabouts you'll love it 😁
I think the location was ballsy, and brilliant. In the city center, high risk of being seen, and all the while the dope addicts and homeless cant bother you. Excellent

Nope, more than one. The Bath one is not the same as the Stratford one.
It is really called The River River! The name Avon means river in Welsh .
Afon means river in Welsh.
