I applied the Henry's Tropicoat to a 2014 Travel Trailer two (2) months ago and I am impressed as to how well it covered the original rubber roof. They say to apply it thick. I applied 2 coats and I still have more in the can. Before the coating, I used Endurabond tape to the joints and edges as I saw cracks on the roof membrane and at the lap sealant seams. I am convinced that RV's are built with the cheapest and most inefficient materials so people are forced to buy new and use sealants, such as Dicor, that are just as unreliable garbage. Dicor layers build up and people are forced to remove the layers before re-applying Dicor, which will crack and required additional applications. Why? I won't tolerate such short-term products. That's why I am putting my trust in Tropicoat and Endurabond. I'm curious how well they will work.
@@ronaldandolsek4637 Hi there, thank you for your feedback. It’s tough to know what you should use, without doing research first. It seems Henry has the best reviews, and you probably picked the better of the two, but only time will tell, I guess. Best of luck to you my friend
our toy hauler is great as well... but two owners before us ran into something slowly on front left side. it leaks when it rains along that front seam by the tongue
@@tomchristensen2914 I’ve heard great things about that tape. And you can apply that roofing sealer over that tape for extra protection. I had a spot that had been repaired and sealed over a long time ago and it still hasn’t leaked. Good luck my friend
👍
Thank you my friend

Dang! Can you put a small bead of silicone in that seam?
Well I am going to get up there and see if I can use that seam tape everyone is talking about to go across whole front seam that goes side to side...
