Giza, Egypt ➖ When I arrived in Egypt, so many people told me I needed to try Koshary... the staple food of Egypt. So I knew I had to find the best one that Egypt has to offer.
After asking a few locals where the best Koshary in Egypt is, I heard a man in the distance yelling "KOSHARY" at the top of his lungs. I've never felt such a need to enter a restaurant, so off I went and was greeted with kindness.
I ordered a plate of Koshary and the legend explained to me what the email consisted of, and even showed me where it's made. They assured me it was the #1 Koshary in Egypt... and let me tell you... it was DAMN good!
Literally, everything I love all in one, pasta, lentils, rice and noodles, all mixed in with a delicious tomato sauce. It was heaven!

you should try the egyptian breakfast " Fol and flafel " you wont forget it too and the street food as well you gotta try it and btw best koshary in egypt is Abu Tarik the most well known resturant for koshary in whole egypt

You don't believe it, yesterday I made Kushari along with the spicy tomato sauce lol! I am not an Egyptian and my background is Indian but now I am a Canadian. Traditionally, they don't add ground beef, but I also add the ground beef into the Kushari for that added benefit/flavour.

I know that traditionally they don't add ground beef in Kushari, so that's the reason I already said about that in my above comment.

Can I ask what the name of the hotel you're staying in is called? I'm going to Egypt in October myself and usually stay in dorm hostels but I think I may splurge the first night or 2 and get a private room at a budget place like this.
Just discovered your channel and loving it so far man, I loved how you paid the camel man in another video way more than necessary after negotiating the price down, because you felt he was a good man. Good to see things like that given the right circumstance and person.
I think it's the Pyramids View Inn, the price and the view matches.
It's a pretty chill place with a nice view of the pyramids and a budget price.

There was some hotel behind the famous pastry store.
If you dont mind old blanket and no bedlinnen.

two weeks ago I had the same size Koshery in a different place in Cairo. I paid 14 pounds (about 0.5$)
That was after the inflation hit (1$=30 pounds)

Kosheri is a very delicious eygption dish .cheap . But tasty.
Dudeee...... I used to study in Egypt... 45 egp for a kushairy is no good..by the amount u get plus the fried chip,i can tell straight away its about 7egp top... But it is good.... Try to discount... Whenever people tell u price, just cut it straight to half of what they offer... In your case 20egp 😉
