Hey Luke! In tandem to the part of the video when you were asking what friends were, the reason why arabic may be hard to pronounce, or quite literally a "mouth full", is because the Arabs historically are known for reaching the cusp of linguistic expression, philology poetry--all things language, and so expressing language with all areas of the mouth contributes to the "fullness" of expression, also
In Arabic, there are 12 levels of friendship.
    Here are the levels:
    1. Zameel - someone you have a nodding acquaintance with
    2. Jalees - someone you’re comfortable sitting with for a period of time
    3. Sameer - you have good conversation with them
…this is where things get serious
    4. Nadeem - a drinking companion (just tea) that you might call when you’re free
    5. Sahib - someone who’s concerned for your wellbeing
… now we’re in the real ranks of friendship
    6. Rafeeq - someone you can depend upon. You’d probably go on holiday with them
    7. Sadeeq - a true friend, someone who doesn’t befriend you for an ulterior motive
    8. Khaleel - an intimate friend, someone whose presence makes you happy
    9. Anees - someone with whom you’re really comfortable and familiar
    10. Najiyy - a confidant, someone you trust deeply
    11. Safiyy - your best friend, someone you’ve chosen over other friends
    12. Qareen - someone who’s inseparable from you. You know how they think (and vice versa)
Love your videos man, you're a genuine kid

It makes sense that you can't travel with too many t-shirts. How about as a general rule, every time you leave a city or country, donate three shirts to them and buy three new t-shirts... that way you get to donate used clothes to someone who might need them, and you get to help local stores too.

24:52 Hi there, Luke, to get rid of the horrible smell from the inside of your shoes, try using some crushed charcoal placed in a small 'open-top' container or pot or a piece of cloth enough to fit in on the inside of your shoes and leave it overnight or just before you settle in for the night. Charcoal effectively removes 80 to 90% of bad smells from the inside of your shoes as it has got a good absorbent properties in removing bad foot smells. The alternative would be some 'used' well-wrung tea bags, put them in a small 'open-top' container or pot enough to fit inside your shoes and leave them overnight while you sleep. On the other hand, why not try wearing Skechers Men's Tresmen Hirano Open Toe Sandals as an example when travelling in very hot countries instead so you've got nothing to worry about bad shoe smells as it allows your feet to breathe while eliminating sweat- the main culprit of bad shoe smells. Also, dont forget to soak your feet in a basin of lukewarm water mixed with half a cup of vinegar or tea tree oil for half an hour then wash it off with running water afterwards, dry it off with a towel whenever you have the chance to give your feet a thorough clean the night before your next trip.

The bargain markets can not be considered as scamming
It is something like auctions where the vendor start with high price and the customer start with a low price, then both would increase and decrease the prices till they reach to an agreement
It is their culture in north africa, calling that scamming is disrespectful in my opinion

Also most of them will just give you the item at the end, not because you won, or because you found its actual price, because they know that you are a visitor and that they want you to leave with good memory! It is funny how when we shop at stores such as LV, Gucci, Chanel, Hermes etc that we never lower the price! Nor even we think about lowering the price, as that may reflect our socioeconomic status!!!!

These people are honest and they just want to make a living, due to COVID and many other things their business is not like how it used to be. It is so hurtful to negotiate with them for few Egyptian pounds while the the same item you can find it on Amazon or eBay for 100x times the original price and just buy it without negotiation! Yes, there are few people who will try to sell you things that are over priced but those are very few (like the corn man). Most other Egyptian people are all kink, honest, and caring.

He got quite greedy visiting all these countries...
He got only 3 t shirts though he's doing TH-cam and comes from Australia . He the bargains in every shop. Many folks from developed countries do " businesses" with people from poor countries for their own benefit and interest. It's been always like this while the poor live how they live.
And, it feels like he would exepect people not to let him pay in most of the stores.. like ,why? Then, with a short goodbye and thank tou he gone. Not very interested to talk to the people whatsoever only for the videos then bye.

Another awesome vlog Luke - Egypt is o my bucket list once travel opens up again ....... as for your bargaining - great! You aways do it with a smile and respect and, at the end of the day - if they are not happy with the price you settle on, they wouldn't sell you the item. Thats the point of bargaining - reach a price you both agree on. You doit brilliantly! Keep chasing your dreams ...

You are very hard man on bargaining, paying a little extra for the product, the man can buy some extra food for his family. Life is very tough in Egypt and else where in the world too. You are from a rich country. You don't have beggars on the street to give charity. But in Islam we have a system of Zakat. Which mean two and a half percent of our wealth goes to poor. We must fulfil this obligation at all times. So our hearts get widened by the grace of Allah. Ameen
