    I really loved spiderman on the GBA. The 3D webslinging missions blew my mind. It took me forever to finish them because it was so much fun just swinging through New York

    The continued use of the Spider Man 2 label actually made sense for the later releases. Word on the street and the press was that the console release was groundbreaking and the movie enjoyed a similar position. Furthermore, Sony used Spiderman 2 as a flagship for their PSP UMD Video format even including it with new PSPs. So with the movie getting another huge push the late tie ins made sense. I'm old.

      That does make some sense, actually. The PSP UMD Videos were wild.

    Very good subject matter to cover with the licensed games from the 2000s. I'm sure there's many others but I like what you showed here

    The thing about the Gundam game is it was the second game to use that Engine first was a Arcade/Dreamcast game based on the US comic Spawn it was the Only Gundam game Europe got on PS2.

    Gundam has tons of excellent games. There was a Gundam RPG for the Famicom that was the originator for the RPG card game before triple triad.

    A really underrated one imo is Transformers Armada for PS2. The open levels were mind blowing as a kid and the boss fights were so intense. Ragdoll physics were fun and the weight of the bots were on point. It's also one of the best looking PS2 games I've played.

      Transformers 2007 on the DS is also a great game. It's an honest to god GTA styled open world with good driving physics and a better story than the movie to boot. It beats both the console and the PSP versions to me despite weaker hardware, as the console versions are just retellings of the movie and the PSP original plot isn't great in comparison.

    i dont know if it counts as a licensed game or just a literal walking ad of a game but i played a game called sneak king as a kid. i swear i dont really remember much about it other than hiding and occasionally giving people like a burger or something. Undoubtedly the weirdest game i've ever played

    One of my favorites ones is Hamtaro Ham-Ham Heartbreak, based on Hamtaro obviously, and developed by AlphaDream (Yes, the Mario & Luigi AlphaDream).
    The game is actually really good.

    The one licensed game I grew up with was Lego Star Wars: the video game. Man I have played this game a bunch. First on ps2, later in school first on pc and later on Wii. Heck I have even completed it multiple times on my computer later in life either on emulators, steam and GOG. I am counting the complete saga as well. It might be obvious with the amount of time spent on Lego gams that I am a Dane.

    Daisy Feunetes Pilates. Oh man that brings back some great memories.
    Lots of fun.
    Many nights spent...

    I think the Cars video game should be looked at soon. It brought back the entire voice cast and features cars based off cut concepts from the original movie. Basically, it's the infinitely superior Cars 2.

    I certainly loved and still do love them. Theres tons of crappers but theres alot of hidden gems that are fun to play. I didnt discover Battle for Bikini Bottom until i graduated highschool in 2018 and had a blast playing through it for a week. Im pretty sure most games ive played on my life are liscened titles.

    Whould you like to include them in the next licensed games video?

    • @TheStupidRaptor
      @TheStupidRaptor 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@bigbrungus @trietnguyen187 Are you 2 sure about that? I mean technically.... EVERY role playing game ever made from Persona to Elder Scrolls to Final Fantasy to Borderlands to Pokemon is based on Dungeons and Dragons in some way. But you're saying Baldur's Gate and Dungeons and Dragons are actually the same IP? If that was true Baldur's Gate would've been a lot more popular before 3 came out; I've never even heard of Baldur's Gate before all the hype surrounding 3.

    • @bigbrungus
      @bigbrungus 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@TheStupidRaptor Yes. It’s set in the same universe with the same TTRPG game systems as 5e. You (and most other people) probably hadn’t heard about it before the third entry because BG2 released back in 2000, and is extremely clunky and archaic by today’s standards.

    I know I am in the minority, but I absolutely despise the console versions of Spider-Man 2. I'm much prefer the PSP version of the game. That's because it's essentially a continuation of the first Spider-Man game for PlayStation 2 GameCube and Xbox.

    They were mostly bad but there were some exceptions like most starwars games were good because george lucas was ahead of his time and was more involved with game development since the 80s. but he sold the rights to starwars and other franchise to Disney so now most new starwars games are not good anymore they just give the licence to ea and other mediocre publishers. also the lords of the rings franchise had great games in the 2000s. i think the harry potter games based on the first few movies were good but then went down hill .the ones on game boy color were very impressive
